McDonald's — Restaurant in Columbus

By far the WORST McDonald's I've ever been to. For McDonald's, that says a lot, and I've been to several.

The lines are busy with people not using their apps before hitting the Drive-Thru at night, backing up lines that can last about 30 minutes, and thats after they send you to park somewhere while they make your order, even after using the app.

Bums are literally hanging around the area too asking for change, so please don't let them solicit you.

Employees have been found not caring about their jobs by getting orders wrong and on a consistent basis. Other reviewers have posted that as well. Today, for example, I ordered a diet coke with no ice and got root beer with ice instead. Asked for honey packets with my Big Breakfast and never got a single one. Both of those were on the same order today.

The food itself is usually stale, dry, or doesn't get prepared properly...

... and that isn't including the shooting that happened here a few months back. I don't know the exact details, but it made the local news and I saw the tape surrounding the restaurant at the time.

All of that.... and I still kept going due to convenience. Not anymore. I'm going somewhere else, and I ride the bus for crying out loud.

I've been to this McDonald's out of convenience for several months now, and still the results haven't changed. I highly recommend going to others instead. Heck, just avoid this area altogether. I know I will be.

Sure, no one likes working at McDonald's let alone work to begin with. But for crying out loud, if you work there, do your job and get the orders right the first time. Other McDonald's do that and at least the employees at others hide the fact they don't like...

The worst McDonald's🍔 in Columbus I'd go to the one down the road at central & mound not only is it the worse services in town & they will mess every order up for sure. U have so many panhandler coming up to u even sitting in the drive Thur it will drive u crazy & they don't only ask for ur spare change none of them ask u that it's always do u have a couple dollars u can spare for real not kidding u at all & they really get mad when u tell them no ur not sure if there going to try something stupid sometimes but they keep on about it they start trying to tell u a sad story about its for there kids because of this or that u no. I understand their sick & needing there stuff & if I had it I'd give it to them. Only because I can understand the pain there in with out it. I'm a recovering addict my self. Even thow I've never done that I worked for what I did but I still understand what there going Thur. But I'll stop here with that. But really just beware of this if u go to this McDonald's🍔 because it really is the worse one in town for what I've told u. If u no ur way around the bottoms go down the Rd to central & mound theres a McDonald's🍔 rite there on the corner but if ur just getting off the free way at 70& broad just make sure u check ur order befor u pull away from the window & just keep ur eye out for all the people who will try to approach ur vehicle ok. This McDonald's needs to be re-staffed with people who enjoy working, are happy to get paid for doing something so simple as giving others delicious food. I was a manager at a Burger King and I loved being able to work, get paid but above that, see the satisfaction of having good food and a clean place to eat on my customers faces. So... We had gross pickles on our sandwiches this past Tuesday and Jasmine told us that she would replace our meal whenever we COULD come in. She never said there was a time limit as to replacing a meal. My husband is busy and my daughter has been sick, we can't just run out and get McDonald's whenever we want. But now it's too late and she can't do it. What?! It's only a couple days later, I used to replace meals within a week. As long as it hasn't been more than a week, you should be able to. People are busy and can't just run to McDonald's to replace their order on a whim. Plus having no car and not a whole lot of extra money makes it rare to get take out. But this McDonald's needs an update with the people and how to be courteous towards customers. The younger people who work nowadays don't show any compassion for where they work, they figure it's just a job but you have to start somewhere to get to someplace better.
