Tried going there several times at night. The first time was told they didn't have a cook on that shift so was only doing drinks. Second time sat at the drive thru board 5 mins before they told us it would be a few minutes then when we tried to order they were out of things. Now we were told it would be 5-10 minutes before they could take our order and were only taking cash. After waiting 15 minutes we asked if anyone was there and were told it would be a few more minutes. After another 5 they finally asked what we wanted. By this point other cars had driven off. We ordered and came around to pay and waited another 8 minutes. They didnt repeat the order at the window and just said it was $9. Their registers werent working and they just had a cash drawer sitting on a counter. He tried to give us the wrong order even tho no-one else was inline waiting. When we said something he was like oh so that was yours and said theyd have to get it ready and didn't say how much it came to and just gave us change and no receipt. After waiting another 7 minutes he gave us our order. But he also waited til he gave us the food before letting us know they were out of the grilled onions and neglected to mention that they took it upon themselves to decide to substitute for the big fresh chunky pieces. Needless to say this was the worst McDonalds we've been to. Upon leaving we got the food out of the bags and both sandwiches were made completely wrong. I called and spoke to the manager and she said that I could come back and they would remake them but she couldn't promise that I wouldn't be having to wait a long time again because it was only her and 1 guy working. I asked if I could just come back tomorrow to get the order replaced and was told yes but I would need a receipt and I told her they didn't give me a receipt and she was like oh I forgot that it was cash only and she told me to just give them her name and then they should...
Read moreI stopped at this location while traveling, to get the littles some dinner. As I am in line to order, a black older model SUV, pulled up where you would order at a clearly closed drive thru lane and started gunning his engine. I couldn't order because he was being so loud and aggressive. Then he pulled up to the window, stayed there for a minute, revved it again a few times then pulled away and began driving around the parking lot circling the drive thru, driving crazy, gunning his loud vehicle so much that I couldn't place my order because they couldn't hear me over him. At first I thought he was just an annoyed customer and after circling 5-7 times, he seemed to have left. So I placed my order and when I paid and said something they apologized and advised it was one of their employees. I pulled forward to get the kids happy meals and here he comes again. I could not get out of there fast enough. All I could think is he left to get a weapon or something and the kids and I are going to be in the middle of a shooting spree. The staff seemed so calm and just kept apologizing! No idea what, if anything, happened after I left I got us back on the hwy ASAP and out of there. This was yesterday, today I called the number on the drive thru window and left a message. Hope nothing happened after we left. In all fairness, the food was fresh and good and the employees were super nice. I've been there many times when we are traveling and always felt safe prior to yesterday. Columbus had always seemed like a...
Read moreI don't normally leave reviews for any places but after today's experience, I unfortunately had to. This was a quick road stop with just 2 orders put in that included a caramel frappe and a mocha frappe to go. We received food, but were waiting on the coffees. All 3 girls working stood by the drive through window/coffee station for 10 minutes. We heard about how one girl's dad is a Cancer, her boyfriend is a Cancer, and she herself is a Sagittarius, as well as a story about how a customer the day prior argued about how "a coffee was not properly made, having worked prior at a mcdonalds" and that she "clearly didn't know what she was talking about"; We noticed the mocha frappe on the counter behind them and asked about our order and she gave it to us half melted. Waiting on the caramel frappe, the girl with glasses and long hair asked a friend to open the frappe mix because she had her nails done and didn't want them damaged, which is against company policy (within the whole time they were standing they didn't prepare any ingredients or machines until last minute.) When we asked if they could just make a mocha frappe instead of dealing with the caramel ingredients at this point they said "I'm busy." Directly after us, a group walked in saying they too were waiting on an iced coffee, presumably from the drive through. Ridiculous. Gotta say, maybe the customer from the day before in her story was...
