Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Columbus

I'm disappointed with the cake at this location. I've had Nothing Bundt Cake in a few different cities. I just moved from Tulsa, and the cakes there were delicious. I've also had them in Atlanta and surrounding areas, and was pleased with them there.

For some reason, the strawberry & cream flavor just didn't taste as good here in Columbus. The frosting didn't taste like cream cheese. It tasted closer to butter cream. Not terrible, but unfortunately lacking that signature taste that creates the perfect balance with the cake. The flavor of the cake itself also didn't come through as nicely as it normally does.

I'll probably give them another chance, since this was my first time at this location. I'll try another flavor and see if it's just the strawberry one. I really hope so, cause nothing bundt cakes is one of my favorite...

So, I’ve been here twice. I think the shop is really cute. Lovely ladies in the front and staff. The cake the first time tasted fresh and moist. The second time, it was a bit dense and dry.. we went on two separate Sunday’s. The first time the three flavors were, Confetti 4/10, Red Velvet 7/10, Lemon 8/10. These are the ratings from my family. And the second time was Lemon 6/10 , Red Velvet 7/10, White Chocolate Raspberry 3/10. I was disappointed when the flavors I tried wasn’t up to par but I know to stick to lemon or red velvet based on my family. The cream cheese is also good. There’s a plus! Also they don’t carry spoons or forks (crazy since it’s a cake shop) in the store soo bring your own. Also the cake depends on the person.. it can taste really sweet or not so sweet.. to me it was really sugary. Overall, my experience is...

Absolutely delicious!!! The cakes are so moist and the flavors are so rich. The white chocolate raspberry and the lemon has to be my favorite. My husband only likes homemade Red Velvet cake but when he tried the one here he said it was better than the homemade ones and wouldn’t share. The few times I have been there, the staff is always helpful and friendly and for what you are getting the price is good to me. The only suggestion I have is to maybe offer plastic folks with the individual cakes just in case someone is out and about at the shopping mall and wants to eat it then. Will definitely be back...
