QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Columbus

I asked if I could get the grilled crispy cheese on a burrito (it's an option for their quesadillas) and they said yes! I'm so tired of restaurant staff that says "sorry, we don't do that" when you have a simple request, so this made my day.

I got a burrito with grilled crispy cheese on the outside and it was fantastic. The rice is a little bland, but my only real complaint is: you can't get queso without extra stuff in it like peppers - you can order fajita peppers and you can get lightly pickled fresh jalapenos, so there's no need to put it in the queso (some people can't eat bell peppers and they might like queso too?).

If they made queso I could eat, I'd definitely be a regular customer here.

The free guacamole, and, the grilled crispy cheese on the outside are two options I can't get at Chipotle though, so I will be coming back...

First time eating here. Similar to Chipotle, but with more options. I wanted to compare, so I ordered as close to what I would have gotten there.

I got an Adobo Chicken bowl with white rice, both pinto and black beans, fajita vegetables, red salsa, and cheese. I also got large queso with chips.

I actually liked the taste of the chicken over Chipotle. The rice seemed to be lacking a little in flavor, and the veggies were not as grilled as I would have preferred. But when all mixed together and you get a little bit of everything in one bite, it was very good.

The queso was very, very good. Not too spicy and definitely packed with flavor. I liked the chunkiness of the peppers that were in the queso.

I ate everything except some of my chips (a lot more than I get from Chipotle) and left very full and...

We ordered Qdoba catering from this store for a large party. They were very helpful when I went in to place the order. I had to place the order in person because I was using gift cards.

They delivered the food early and included all necessary implements. The food was very good and fed everyone with leftovers. I had ordered two extra salads on the side, but really wasn’t necessary. We had one entire salad left over. There were a ton of chips and shredded cheese leftover also. I had ordered their special queso and was very glad I did. People raved about it. There was plenty of guacamole which I loved. The only thing we ran out of quickly, was their corn salsa. If I was doing it again, I would order extra of that. But overall, a huge win.
