First tattoo. Went with SBO based upon reviews and feedback, and went with Rev.Dice specifically because of his portfolio and how well he works with the key artistic elements needed for my custom tattoo. He took a rough sketch of my concept and a 5 minute conversation about the meaning behind each element of the design and he added his own own artistry to create a piece that was better than I had imagined.

He was eager to give me a tour of the place and the sterile processes - very reassuring for a first-timer.

Tattoo day came, 4 hours in the chair, one session. Was very nervous but Dice is extremely easy going. The 4 hours flew by before I knew it. His work was careful and the pain was much less than I expected. He worked efficiently and turned out a piece that I am just in awe of - a fitting tribute to my mother who passed 12 years ago.

Dice was easy-going, open to my design, added just the perfect amount of his artistry and took me through the whole process like I was in control - very reassuring. Never felt like I was being maneuvered or expected to do anything.

The shop at SBO is amazing, the atmosphere is casual and easy-going. Even a wimpy IT geek like myself felt right at home. Dice is an awesome artist and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He proactively followed up with me a couple of times to tweak my aftercare routine based upon the progress of my healing.

Mike Gombeda created a custom piece of art for my arm! He took his time with the drawing, planning, using the stencil, and free-handed portions. He always asked permission to free-hand something in place of an original idea to see if it would work better. He was never pushy and never made me feel like his ideas were better than mine. He was especially patient with me when picking out the colors, particularly when I was being indecisive. I really appreciated and welcomed his suggestions during the whole process. Also, as a woman a big plus for me was that Mike never gave me that "creepy guy" vibe.

I never had a fear of infection or cross contamination because Mike is crazy about cleanliness. He washed his hands before we started each session and after breaks, he probably changed his gloves 10 times each session, too. Everything was wrapped in plastic i.e. trays, machines, chairs, electrical wires, etc. Plus, I had the opportunity to watch him open all the needles and tubes from their original packaging during every set up.

After completely healing, there are no lumpy scar tissue spots and my skin is smooth to the touch. The colors in my tattoo are vibrant and beautiful, I get compliments all the time!

5 years ago I had an appointment with Michael. He is and was very professional. He took a picture my daughter drew and created an amazing, priceless, work of art. It means the world to me. Michael is an awesome tattoo artist. I am definitely going back for more and I would recommend him and the shop to anyone!!!! // Well, I went back several times for additional tattoos.
