First, all they seem to have is chicken fingers, a sandwich style, and some other choices. This isn't shocking given the name is Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, but it's still an important distinction in case you're going to randomly pull up and expect other chicken food choices. Second, it's a little pricier than other fast food places. I think I spent 8 dollars on my combo and most other combos were higher than that. You can substitute most sides with each other, coleslaw, fries, and toast. Mine came with all three but I opted for only fries and now I'm sick of fries. Their fries are a generic steak fry you'd get from microwaving those frozen fries, lightly salted, but they go well with the somewhat bigger packet of Heinz ketchup you can both squeeze or dip that they hand out when you ask for ketchup.
Their chicken fingers are moist and tender. It's very good chicken with breading that is flakey and not overbearing. The breading is seasoned very lightly and that's where the sauce comes in. The Cane's Sauce that most combos come with is the reason I would suggest trying out this food chain. It is worth making a trip to try because it's very unique. It seems to be a light ranch with season salt and heavy pepper. Although that might sound odd to you, it makes the lightly seasoned chicken and more robust fries taste amazing. It reminds me of the sear around a steak but with a ranch kinda cream quality that lightens it and is fitting for dipping chicken.
Lastly, we'll talk about the drink which has those really cool smaller ice cubes, but they filled half my cup and I can't help thinking that's not much soda. :/ All-in-all I'm assuming given the particular location that your food experience will be different than mine, but if you're hungry and some chicken fingers with fries, coleslaw, and toast seems like an interesting meal, you'll find good quality food here with a highly recommended try of their unique...
Read moreThey have good food and service but unfortunately when it comes to hiring people don't plan on starting to work there. It happened to me. I had an interview yesterday with the GM there. Interview went really well. They got my background check back and told me it was fine. The GM there told me yesterday I was hired then calls me this morning and tells me because of the "high schoolers" getting out of school soon for the summer it wouldn't be good for the store or me to be put on the schedule because of the high schoolers having better availability once school is out. I hope it didn't have anything to do with my age. I told him my age and he said it was fine. I'm 55. He told me the job was only part time which is fine with me but telling me I would only be getting 15 to 20 hours a week which I told him that was fine then calling me this morning and telling me I would only be getting 1 day a week doesn't sound right to me. My suggestion is if a GM of a place tells you that you are hired then that GM needs to keep their word instead of changing their mind and telling you the next day your not hired. Another suggestion is hire more then just teenagers!!! All that works there is teenagers. I feel like I have been discriminated against because of my age!!! Hope this...
Read moreBusiest Cane's drive through I've ever seen on a daily basis but we were there after the rush so it was slow. This was my first time inside this location, I've always gone through the drive through. The inside is by far the smallest canes I've ever seen or been to! And I'm not going to say it was gross, but it didn't feel super clean, it kinda reminded me of like an old truck stop gas station fastfood restaurant... Not the greatest inside. Something that is not a huge deal but some might think it is so I'll share it anyways, is that is that we said dinning in and the guy that brought it all up had it to go and the girl at the register even said ohhh that was supposed to be to go.. but we said that's ok and just ate it out of the to go containers. As always the lemonade and chicken were good. Fries were stale and older but again that doesn't bother me unless I'm paying 50 bucks a meal. The one thing that really got me though, THE TOAST!! The toast was only done on one side! That was honestly gross, I ate it all because I was hungry and not wanting to cause issues. I do not like confrontation. So I'll go back but only the drive through and only if I'm not near the one in Gahanna, that's...
