Saturn's Sports Bar Columbus, Ohio — Restaurant in Columbus

We have been to Saturns on a couple of occasions for Wednesday night wing night and have been disappointed in the service from the kitchen. Our first visit the wings took nearly an hour to come out of the kitchen but were delicious once we got them. On our second visit we ordered wings again and again they took nearly an hour to be prepared. Unfortunately this time half of our order came out incorrectly and we did not want to wait another hour for a corrected order so we did not mention it.

We do want to specifically compliment Jay for his attentiveness and excellent job as a bartender each time we have visited. Before our negative experiences with wing nights, we were in on a Saturday and tried the flat bread at Jay’s recommendation and it was incredible. During our negative experiences with wing nights Jay did his best to urge the cook along to prepare our food in a timely manner.

This place was really great, decent food, a great bartender (Jay?) and we used to go there for karaoke nights. They had this sweet but edgy couple who did the show, and they really built a following. They were EXCEPTIONAL! Everything was great and we were there continuously until they brought in a new manager who harassed the ladies and bullied the karaoke people, and always hogged the mics and complained about his bosses. One night, after he'd chased most of the recurring crowd away, he really blew up and startued threatening everyone. Mitchell's right around the time that somebody had been shot dead across the street. Wonderful. We stopped going. It wasn't safe and it wasn't fun. TLDR: GET THE WINGS This place is truly a sports bar, TVs all over with something playing for everyone. We were a little nervous when we arrived, we were the only customers at 7pm on a Saturday. But service was quick and attentive from behind the bar staff. We got the house chips and salsa, absolutely delicious. I got the chicken tacos and my fiancé got the wings, half buffalo half BBQ. I am not a bone in wing person by any means but these things were INCREDIBLE. My fiancé says the buffalo wings were delicious and but I tried a BBQ wing and let me tell you… those were insane.
