Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Columbus

I frequently come through the drive thru at this location. I can tell you that the girls working there are extremely kind, friendly, and fast. I never have to wait long even with a line. I enjoy coming through and seeing the employees get along and have fun with each other. I just went through about 20 minutes ago and I saw a note written through the window “if the drawer is short it comes out of your tips.” When I saw this note I couldn’t believe a work place who treats their employees like that has so many hard working employees. Taking away tips and money that your employees earn and work hard for is illegal no matter the situation. Whether or not your drawer is short, if a customer ran without paying, or any other situation where this comes up. It disgusted me that businesses get away with this kind of stuff all while paying their employees a barely live-able wage....

I'm not sure who decided on the location and hours for this Scooter's, but I'm disappointed. I love Scooter's but this is quite possibly the worst spot to put it, it's not convenient to get to (especially if you are driving west and trying to turn across traffic) and I was hoping for a sit-down place like Fremont has. Also it closes by like 6. Starbucks at Hy-Vee is open until 8 and it's right there at Hy-Vee where I do other shopping. They should have put this out by Menards and the new Panda Express or Walmart.

I got my usual Lrg Oreo blender with one shot and was too thick and poorly blended. I had multiple chunks of ice and oreo that shouldn't have been that big. I don't think they put my shot in there either because I couldn't even taste it 😕. I was looking forward to that the whole day after being in a class that is mentally challenging 😩. I don't know if it's normal or not, but I got their mini donuts for the first time, too, and they were frozen! If that's how they do it, my apologies, but I feel like they should least be room...
