I’ve been coming here for years and have always had great service and delicious food, but today was unfortunately a very disappointing experience. I understand weekends can get busy, and that’s never been an issue for me. We were seated right away, which was great, but our server’s attitude was noticeably off from the start — she seemed dry and uninterested, like she wasn’t in the best mood.
When we ordered, I asked for two coffees, but she only brought one. When we politely mentioned it, she replied, “I heard you,” which came off as unnecessarily rude. After that, she said she’d give us a few minutes to look at the menu, but we waited around 10 minutes before she returned to take our order, even though her section wasn’t particularly busy.
When I placed my order, I clearly asked to switch my pancakes for the pumpkin stuffed French toast, not the regular kind. When the food arrived, it was the regular French toast. Another server brought it out and was kind enough to apologize and take it back, but when our server returned, she blamed me, saying I should’ve told her I wanted the pumpkin one — even though I was very clear about that from the start.
What made things worse was noticing how differently she treated another table seated nearby. Her tone, attitude, and overall energy completely changed — she was friendly, smiling, and engaging with them, while with us she was cold, short, and dismissive. That really stood out and made the experience feel even more unpleasant.
After that, she didn’t check on us again for the rest of our meal. Our coffee pot was empty, and we had to ask another server for creamers, who was thankfully very kind.
Overall, this visit was really disappointing. The food was still great, but the service completely missed the mark. I hope management addresses this because I truly do love coming here — today’s experience just didn’t reflect the...
Read moreHave to be honest ...... We never got a chance to eat ...... We walked in, were seated, ordered drinks, and given menus ..... Then sat for about fifteen minutes while people who walked in after us were waited on, given drinks and had their orders taken.
And at least four wait staff there going around the restaurant taking care of two tables who came in after us as well as a couple tables who were there before us.
And to add insult to injury the waitress who gave us menus told us she'd be right with us ..... Once after giving us the menus and once before taking care of a couple that had just came in (around the ten minute mark).
The restaurant was nowhere near full. Not even half full. And we were very visible and staff did look at us before taking care of others.
One waitress was even at a table for about five minutes talking with their customer in a friendly manner
I guess we didn't fit the restaurants' demographic, so the employees decided not to serve us.
It would have been more direct if they had just said that they didn't serve our type (older, white, and I had a hat on indicating former military status ... I am a veteran) and not to enter.
Not the first time I have felt discriminated against somewhere. I'm sure it won't be the last.

They don’t seem to have a very organized system in place. They gave the incorrect hashbrowns, which is fine. They replaced it without me saying anything. Then the person forgot to bring the toast I asked for, which I just let go.
We had our waitress drop off the check after a pretty average experience; leaning towards above-average. She never came back. After 20-25 minutes of no one and making sure the bill and card were very visible, we went up front and told them I’d like to pay. They then gave a non-apology and made an excuse for her that she was helping a large party. Okay? Then you either go take care of us first, or pass it off to someone to take care of us. You don’t leave your table for about half an hour right after you drop the check off…
I don’t want an apology. I’m just giving feedback that yall need some leadership changes or better organizing. That’s unacceptable stuff tbh.
Will be going to a diff location since the food here is very good, but they are hopefully running a better business. They mean well, but mediocre service to that level is...
