Golden Chopsticks — Restaurant in Columbus

I visited today 7/1/2021 and was met with a rude customer experience by the African American cashier:Jada (if that's her real name??). She not only unexplainably upcharged me for a duplicate order that I placed 9 days ago and told a lie over the phone about how I could dispute the upcharge when I arrived to pick up my order,..when I got there in 20 mins,..she said the Mgr had left for the day. Then when I asked why she did not tell the Mgr that a customer was on the way and wanted to discuss pricing changes on a 9 day ago duplicate order? When I showed her my receipt from 9 days ago where I paid less for the same exact order,..she then said she would call the Mgr,..but stepped away so the call could not be verified? She came back and said the Mgr told her,..to tell me,. take it or leave it?? Wait,..WHAT?? Unfortunately,.. I took it as my family was at home awaiting dinner. As I prepared to leave,..she directed me to a sign on the table dated 4/22/2021,.that advised of price changes?? I'm not sure why she advised me to look at a sign dated 2 months before I purchase food 9 days ago on (6/21/2021),..at a lower price?? Her attitude is the WORST,..& consumers do not have to spend their hard earned money at rude service establishments that provide unstable/unexplained price hikes on duplicate orders. Golden Chopsticks Mgr.,..I truly hope you read this review,..and address my concerns. Remember,..there are (numerous) other Asian Cuisine restaurants in town,.. likely with better customer service and honest pricing. Sign on entrance door states they are closed every Wednesday. When you walk in you get hit in the face with the odor of burning grease and fried food (not the same because of the light haze from smoke) - no way you are walking out of there without that smell hanging on your clothes and in your hair. We ate outside, thankfully that was an option. There was a sign stating menu prices were wrong because of costs… “ask how much the item you want currently is”… The outside eating area was clean and open with metal patio furniture. I gave two stars because of the outdoor seating and the the portion size of the pork fried rice. It was a good sized portion, which would have been quite filling, if it was worth consuming. Unfortunately, my order was rice with wilted, brownish, egg whites and sliced pork (I think), there was one tiny piece of carrot and one solitary pea - both of which reminded me of frozen vegetables; not a terrible thing in itself but would have been great to have the typical ingredients … onion, carrots, peas with egg and char siu pork (the square pieces with red edges, aka, roast pork). If you look at the picture it kinda looks like oatmeal - neither visually appealing nor tasty. I wouldn’t return to this location. I don’t know what’s been going on with this place here lately.. my mother took me to this Chinese spot every time we got our hair done at TuTu’s beauty salon on Nike dr starting at the age of 10. I’m 24 now and The food was phenomenal and prices fair until recently. The recent first attempt I had called in a order 20mins prior to arriving and yet the food was still not done. The had also mistaken the order of spicy garlic beef for a spicy curry beef. Two combination meals for lunch time , which they said be ready in 15mins. Tried again, food was ready when I got there… I ordered cashew chicken and spicy garlic beef for coworker. I’ve never had golden chopsticks give me Cashew chicken like this.. the chicken was slimy and just textured wrong overall. I’ve never had a cashew chicken that didn’t have a dark gravy/juice. This was grey and just looked and tasted nasty. I couldn’t even finish the main. The egg rolls ended up tasting bad too but better than the main course. They also give you such a small container and serving of dipping sauce you can’t even fit the egg roll in the container to dip it ! LOL I ended up drizzling over my egg roll and making the biggest unnecessary mess. That was my choice. But I do hope...
