Visited this place just this morning, and it was not what I expected of a breakfast stop. The management will better their establishment by paying closer attention to reviews and constructive criticism - such as this one.
If you're going to set yourself up as a breakfast hospitality, be sure to bring the service and structure as well. The server, a young lady with an apparent short attention span, brought out everything on-time, but failed to adhere to the customary follow-up after the food was served - leaving the notion that service is not a very important part of the business or her job. She was, however, quick to bring me the check without asking if I needed anything further or if the meal was satisfactory. Perhaps she knew it wouldn't be.
The order was for a benny plate that substituted avocado toast for the usual muffin and Canadian bacon, which I found to be a delightful idea. It was disappointing, and only barely edible. The eggs were over-poached and solid, and quite bland. The toast, though smothered with an avocado spread, was burnt and tasted as such. The proportion of small egg to large toast is odd and is not agreeable to the palate, overall. Their hash browned potatoes were suitable and prepared well, though.

Read moreWe have eaten here (North Hamilton Road Branch) only twice. The first time was great, but the second one was a mess. They have the most uncivil and impolite wait staff. Our waitress, a young lady, had the shortest attention span ever. When she brought out our coffee, we asked for a creamer that wasn't already on the table (but supposed to be) and she brought them from inside and tossed it onto the table unmannerly. Then, she brought out our meal, without the cutlery/silverware and fled off. When we asked the rest of the wait staff for the cutlery, not one of them responded, they either snapped at us or snubbed us. After that, when our waitress came for the customary follow-up on the food, we told her about having to wait more than five minutes for the cutlery to arrive and she said that they were all out. Finally when the cutlery made it to us and when we just began eating, she was quick to bring us the check without even asking us if we needed anything further. She decided that we wouldn't order further. We have never experienced this kind of contempt anywhere else. Read moreWe ordered breakfast takeout today, for pickup. My husband asked a young man at the front stand for the order., he was on his phone and didn’t even acknowledge my husband. A young girl came up and went and got the order, but stopped to have a conversation with other employees while our food got cold. No she wasn’t adding anything to the order, everything was in the bag ready to go. We ordered 2 uncle mouse handlers. My husband got two eggs and me one, same price. My English muffin was so burned unable to eat and my husbands sourdough wasn’t even toasted at all. We paid extra for spinach to get three leaves add. We order carry out two times every weekend, since last March 2020. We tip 20% or more online orders too. We want to keep our restaurants in business and feel we are doing our part weekly. But it’s sad to receive poor service for a carry out, tipping too and get poor quality of food. If restaurant want to stay around like Scramblers, you need to work with your employees.
