This ramen joint will make you throw away all of the instant ramen in your kitchen… Tensuke Ramen is located in the famous Kenny Center Mall, serving up authentic and customizable ramen that is loaded with all the flavors that make Japanese cuisine so unique. This spot is up there as one of my favorite places I’ve eaten at in Columbus. 🍜 Tensuke Ramen 1155 Old Henderson Rd, Columbus, OH 43220 #ramen #bestramen #tensukemarket #tensukeexpress #tensukeramen #authenticjapanese #japanesefood #japanese #ramennoodles #columbus #columbusohio #centralohio #cbusfoodscene #cbusfoodie #cbus #ohio

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tensuke Express for the first time, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. Tensuke Express is a cozy and welcoming Japanese restaurant located in a very nice area, it offers a variety of delectable dishes inspired by authentic Japanese cuisine. Ambience and Service: Upon entering Tensuke Express, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's simple yet elegant decor created a comfortable dining environment. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any questions or requests. Despite it being my first time, they made me feel welcome and guided me through the menu options. Food: The menu at Tensuke Express is diverse, featuring a wide range of Japanese favorites. I decided to try their Ramen 🍜 , and I was thoroughly impressed. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the flavors were well-balanced. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles had a perfect texture. The bowl was generously filled with toppings, including tender slices of chicken, seaweed, and a perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg. The portion size was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling satisfied. Value for Money: Considering the high quality of the food and the overall dining experience, I found Tensuke Express to be reasonable ( 10/20$ per person) The portions were generous, and the ingredients used were of excellent quality. The prices were comparable to other Japanese restaurants in the area, and I felt that I received good value for my money. Improvements: While my visit to Tensuke Express was enjoyable, there were a couple of minor areas for improvement. The seating area, although comfortable, felt a bit cramped when the restaurant was busy. Additionally, the menu could benefit from a few more vegetarian or vegan options to cater to a wider range of dietary preferences. Conclusion: Overall, my first visit to Tensuke Express was a fantastic experience. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food made it a memorable dining adventure. If you're looking for a Japanese restaurant that offers high-quality ingredients, flavorful ramen, and friendly service, Tensuke Express is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings. It's nice place for a date night 💕

We did not enjoy this restaurant. - tried to ask questions and they couldn't hear so we were basically on our own. -husband ordered ramen. He loves ramen and was very excited to eat here as he lived in Japan for a year and is always seeking authentic Japanese. --We are on vacation and realized quickly that this place is not a fun or enjoyable place to be.. - he only ate about half of it and I was surprised as he doesn't eat a lot but he always finishes his ramen. He disliked it because of a large amount of seaweed in there. The menu board does NOT indicate that it is in there. I told him that they would rather give you what you want then have an unhappy customer or bad review and that prompted him to go up and ask them about it. -- big mistake as they proceeded to scold him as they handed him his remade ramen. It kind of ruined that dish for him as well and it just left a bad taste in our mouth that we were there for a good time and we are being treated like children because they messed up the dish.... or the menu board by not providing a description and by making it impossible to ask ?s of the representatives. I believe the place is overrated. We had an awesome day at the waterpark and I had potstickers and shrimp and I enjoyed the shrimp but the potstickers were too greasy and not very flavorful. And being scolded like a child just left a bad taste in all Of our mouths and as we left I couldn't believe there were over 20 people in line to come here... I would skip it and find another shop.! My husbands experience will have me bad mouthing this restaurant for long to come as this was degrading..... all because

I recently visited Tensuke Ramen and had an outstanding dining experience. The ramen here is simply fantastic, with a variety of base flavors to choose from. Personally, I loved the miso ramen; it was incredibly flavorful and rich. You also have the option to customize your ramen with different toppings, including pork, beef, chicken, and shrimp, which adds a nice personal touch to your meal. The food was not only delicious but also perfectly balanced in terms of flavor and richness. Aside from the ramen, you can order appetizers that complement the main dishes wonderfully. The ambiance is pleasant with plenty of seating available, making it a comfortable spot for both small and large groups. Parking is never an issue, as they have a large parking lot with ample space. Overall, Tensuke Ramen is a must-visit for anyone craving a hearty and delicious bowl of ramen. Highly recommended!

I am in Columbus for a work trip and am staying not far away and thought I would give it a try. Unassuming location and basic design but I am now OBSESSED with the miso ramen with spicy pork and kimchi. The broth is like velvet, just enough spice for flavor and so rich. The pork is fork tender and the kimchi was the perfect crunch to go with it. I typically eat small portions but I plowed through the entire bowl, and if I had room for it I would have drank the rest of the broth. I almost made it! I took it to go and the packaging was brilliant; the broth was on the bottom and the ramen, pork and kimchi were packed separately on the top so the noodles kept their texture. It took about 15-20 minutes to arrive but it was totally worth the wait. The young lady that waited on me was knowledgeable and super friendly. I don't come to Cbus often but I will visit this place again!
