I came here specifically to try the s’mores sundae, because of the pictures posted on your social media. But instead, I got a very sad not at all as described sundae. Like bad, bad. I mean I was missing like half the ingredients listed (the homemade graham cracker crumble was nonexistent), the marshmallows were hard as a rock and not at all toasted. There was some random small spoon with hot fudge, but zero Hershey's chocolate. The girl that was making the mentioned it was her first day and she didn’t know where everything was…why was someone left completely alone on their first day? Do you not train people at all? My friend and I visited on a Wednesday night and found there to be no wait! The staff was incredibly friendly, described the history of the ice cream, and was super patient with us as we tried a bunch of flavors! Not only can you get two different kinds of ice cream for a small, but the portion size was also pretty decent! The ice cream itself had a great texture and flavor. I also can’t forget about the cute little candy eyes on the ice cream either! Although the sitting area is small, we were able to stay for sometime and chat as the atmosphere is very cozy. The only ice cream in Columbus on par with Jeni's, but for different reasons. While Jeni's emphasizes unique and fresh ingredients, Toft's really shines at mastering classic, rich flavors with subtle twists. If you love chocolate, peanut butter, salted, truffle, buckeye, cookie, caramel, or bourbon type flavors, you will love Toft's. They do these extremely well, with very creamy texture and strong flavors in large portions for the price. It's not usually busy and you can taste everything to decide.
