I have gone here several times in the past few weeks, and while their service has far surpassed all other locations I have been to, the overall service leaves a fair bit to be desired.
The second to last time I was there I had to specifically request for items to be added to my order WHILE they were taking my order. They would shake their head and nod in confirmation, but the food never appeared on the screen. I had to repeat myself multiple times, after which having my order "completed" I had to check the bag and the food items, go back to the counter and request for several food items they had left out. Probably $10 worth of food. They had forgot my Caesar side salad and did not give me my drinks! I had to ask for the drinks again.
*This seems to be a problem with every Wendy's I have gone to this year!!!
Today, I ordered among other things a Caesar side salad with Caesar dressing. I had to specify the dressing multiple times while they were taking my order. They didn't give me my drinks, same as the last time! I stood by the counter and waited while another customer was being served. Then I was asked if I forgot something! No! THEY forgot to give me my drinks!
I was courteous, I requested my drinks and with a sigh and a disgusted look the staff member went to get my drinks. I double checked my bag again, wait....what am I missing???? A small french fry. I then notice I am missing my CAESAR side salad!
I tell them I am missing my side salad and her response was, "You ordered a caesar dressing, not the salad." Oh no, no. Absolutely not! I argue with them over what I have ordered and tell them that I noticed that they didn't charge me for a side salad and that I will gladly pay for it, but that I will have the damn food item which I ORDERED...and they get it for me. I immediately forgot about the small fry I was missing until I reached my home and my wife asked me why I only ordered one fry.....
I am tired of being exploited by these restaurants.
I always check my bags before I leave, but it's not MY JOB to get MY ORDER RIGHT, and I am tired of being charged for food that YOUR STAFF DOES NOT GIVE ME and I am tired of your staff treating customers disrespectfully when we have to double check YOUR WORK.
There is nothing professional about that. You have charged me for food I have not received. Yes, the small fry IS on my receipt. I should not have to drive back across town to get one small fry which YOU charged me for but DID...
Read moreMy husband and I went through the drive through after working a 16 hour shift in transportation. We ordered 5 junior bacon cheeseburgers, a large order of fries and a large chocolate frosty. After waiting for almost 20 minutes to get to the window, we finally got home, opened the bag and grabbed our food. My husband took a bite and that's when we realized they were just plain ole cheeseburgers. Almost no catsup, very little mustard and wilted pickles. He called the Georgesville Square store, spoke to the manager and was told to bring the order back and it would be replaced. We decided to eat what we had. While I opened my burger, he called the corporate office to place a complain. As he was speaking to a rep, I looked at him as I pulled a strand of hair out of my burger and gagged. He immediately told the rep what happened and she sounded shocked, too say the least. We told her we were going back to the store, and she told my husband they would defiantly look into the issue. We arrived at the store and waited in line. I asked for a manager. When she came to the counter, I explained the issue, and even opened the bag to show her the half eaten food. As we watched a young man cook up a new order, I told the store manager I wanted a refund. She told me she is replacing the food and that she didn't have to give a refund. I calmly told her I pulled hair out of my food and had to come all the way back to the store for a order that should have been right the first time and that the lady at the corporate office heard me when I pulled the hair out. She basically said it wasn't her problem, as she stood there with the same color hair, NOT IN A HAIRNET. My husband had me walk away as he asked for her name and was told she didn't have to give out her * name because I was rude. He finally got it out of her and we left, but not before calling corporate back from the parking lot. We will NEVER EVER go to that store again. EVER. If I could give minus stars I would. The manager is rude and swears at customers, and don't take responsibility for the mistakes in her store. Not to mention that EVERYONE there that had long hair was NOT wearing a hair net!! STEER CLEAR OF THE GEORGESVILLE...
Read moreI recently visited Wendy's drive-through and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Upon reaching the window to collect my order, I was taken aback by the appalling behavior of the employee. Not only did they toss my food towards me in a careless manner, but they also slammed the window shut abruptly, only to reopen it with a rude exclamation to "have a great day."
What made this encounter particularly unpleasant was the disrespectful attitude displayed by the employee, who happened to be a male with long hair. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for basic customer service etiquette was truly disappointing.
As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit to Wendy's. Such behavior reflects poorly on the restaurant and undermines the positive reputation that Wendy's strives to maintain.
In conclusion, I hope that Wendy's takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue to ensure that other customers do not have to endure similar experiences in the future. Improving customer service standards should be a priority for any establishment, and I trust that Wendy's will take the necessary steps to rectify...
