Not sure why this Starbucks has decent ratings because they honesty are terrible. Usually they’re just slow and or backed up but this time was different. Me and my friend went in looking to get a quick drink in and out. What should have taken no more than 5-6 mins ended up taking 15 because the barista decided to prioritize an online order before us. As I understand you are supposed to take those first nobody else was in the line or even anywhere NEAR Starbucks at the time of us being there. So that’s not an excuse. So here’s what happened: we walk up and say hello my friend orders then the barista proceed to make her drink as we are paying separately I am waiting patiently with a 20 because I had planned on leaving her a tip. She’s taking a long time, as she finished my friend drinks so hands it to her and goes on to make more drinks… I haven’t ordered yet so I’m confused. After another 5 mins she finally says I’m finishing this online order one second. I say that’s fine, eventually I realize she’s not making one but THREE drinks for again an order that’s not even there! Nobody was but us! Finally as she’s about to take my order another lady gets behind us, (it’s been at least 10-15 mins now) so I put my 20 away and got my card out as she doesn’t deserve the tip I was intending to give her. She says what can I get for you in a rude manner and doesn’t even say have a good day or even flash a smile when we said thanks goodbye. I get life gets tough but this was unacceptable behavior, I wish they would fire and rehire most of the workers for this location as they aren’t very nice and or good at what they do. Usually we’ve been attended good at this location, but this hasn’t been the first time we’ve encountered SEAN. He has been RUDE previous times, however not to the extent of today’s experience. The employee SEAN was very rude to my cousin this afternoon. She PATIENTLY waited 20 MINUTES for him to attend her. She understood that he was the only person attending customers, there was 3 people waiting to get their order taken. Also, it was not a big order, my cousin was going to order only 2 drinks for her birthday. We all understand employee shortage and also have worked in the restaurant industry, but very UNPROFESSIONAL to roll your eyes, bang on the countertop and act VERY RUDELY towards a customer. Especially on their birthday! When she started ordering, she always says MAY I PLEASE HAVE…. And then her order, she is very PATIENT and RESPECTFUL. She was asking her sister what size drink she wanted in order to not keep Sean waiting since she had realized he was already in a BAD MOOD after attending the previous customer. Mind you, while he was making the previous drinks, he was throwing things in the sink and huffing and puffing. When she commented about his attitude and said he was being rude. He responded RUDELY with “and so what?” Needless to say, we will no longer be purchasing anything at this local Starbucks. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!    Read moreI came into this Starbucks having a good day. I was happy because I was about to redeem my birthday drink since it's MY birthday! Before I say what happened. I need you as the reader to know that I'm a very patient person. I've worked at a fast food restaurant so I know how it can get when it's only YOU working. It's hard I get it. But a customers experience should always be a good one, no matter what! Now with what happened, the barista, SEAN, was making a big order. Sean was huffing, puffing, and rolling his eyes. He even started throwing containers AGGRESSIVELY into the sink. That scared my sister and I. We waited for 20 minutes, which honestly was no problem at all because we weren't in a hurry. He was ready to take our order. I greeted him kindly and he greeted me in a rude manner. I let that slide because I could tell that he was frustrated. I quickly asked my sister what size drink she wanted, so that SEAN wouldn't get more upset and he slammed his hand onto the register. I was startled by his actions and immediately said "you're being so rude right now.." and SEAN replied with "and so what?".......
I shouldn't have been treated that way. All I wanted was to redeem my birthday drink. Hopefully management sees this and takes care of him. There's been other times where he's been rude to my friends and I. But, we had let that slide because it wasn't AS BAD as today. Please look into new crew. I know that's easier said than done.
