King Shawarma Restaurant — Restaurant in Wixom

Visited on 6/28/24 6.30 pm Great Hospitality, Great Service, great food!! Read some positive reviews here, and wanted some good Mediterranean food. Called earlier in the day to find out if they offered dine-in, as well as carryout. Man that answered was very courteous and friendly. Confirmed both dine-in and carry-out. Told him we'd see him later that evening, and thanked him! He asked how many and approximate time. Walked in to find table already set up, and waiting for us. That's great hospitality! He remembered my call, and was ready for us, when we got there. I'd expect that if upscale dining and reservations, but in a smaller quaint business as this, that was such a nice touch. I believe the owner is who I spoke to on phone, and his son was at the front counter when we arrived. We were greeted very warmly. Son attended to our needs, while father was the cook. Service was outstanding, and the food wad delicious, and hot!!! We had chicken galaba, lamb kefta pita, lamb bowl, hommous, and tabbouli salad. We ALL were very satisfied with our orders. The visit EXCEEDED our expectations, from beginning to end. We will be back again!! Sandra and family HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

I’ve been coming here for a while and love the food. I may have gone on an off day. The hummus came with stale bread still in the bag like at the store which I found odd? I could see parts of the sesame bread was torn off already. The kafta sandwich was a small piece of meat with huge chunks of raw red onion to make sandwich look bigger. The kafta was mostly bread, one small pickle and mostly raw red onion burning inside of mouth. Very little actually meat which was disappointing. Probably a bad batch because the kafta is normally the best I’ve ever had hands down! I think it may have been a different cook because Abe food is always on point with all the food. I will say the customer service is good and on point each time I go in. I would give them another chance for sure as they do have amazing...

I had to remove the 5 star review I gave the previous owners. The dinner kabob portions left my family hungry false advertisement on the menu portions. You would think that they cared but no didn’t even let me get a refund for the food that was untouched or offer to make it right. They had such an additude I didn’t feel comfortable keep repeating himself saying store credit and even starting recording my phone call!! bc I said you don’t know who I am I’ve been coming here for years! Cheap mistake they could have just made right without all the headache. Fix the menu and poor customer service or you will go out of business quick. Raise your prices then don’t tell me your dinner is cheaper then the competition just do it right!! How hard is it to be kind to people that...
