Las Tortugas Commerce City — Restaurant in Commerce City

I love this place, I refer it to family and friends all the time. But lately, I have noticed an increase with wrong orders not being made the way I’m asked. Today I received my order made wrong for the 7th time. Likely my husband is more understanding the past couple of messed up/wrong orders my husband tells me “it’s okay they will get it right next time we come, don’t complain” I have held back leaving a bad review but, I feel something needs to be done. So, I placed an order thru the phone an upon arrival they only had one Customer eating and one ticket order. I truly believe that their was no reason to mess the order wrong. The reason I called ahead is because I can just arrive pay, pickup and leave because it takes me an hour drive to get back home. I called and complain and know I have to take the food back. I’ll take it back but I’m not getting any food I’m getting a refund I need $$$ for the extra 2 hours of gas just to return the food. I offered to send pictures and they told me “NO” I’ll come back I’ll just have to open the order...

Stopped here on my way to the airport, was very excited to try out and their menu and prices created high expectations, good reviews helped too. Ordered super torta La Camelia and boy, once I opened the bag at the airport the size was like , did I get the worn wrong one? I grabbed it and immediately felt the soft bread, expectancies started to go down, took a bite and very bland, Did they forget to add salt? Sad to say very promising but only if they get crusty bread and season the food. Yes, I am from Mexico city and work around food industry so expectancies are high, but should they not be?? Please hire a chef or at least taste your food constantly and success will be yours. Hope this review helps and look forward to give them...

06/19/2020 @ around 9:20pm We went to pick up dinner, ordered our food and for some reason it seemed to be more than what we usually pay, after paying we order 2 aguas frescas (sandía, fresa) when they called me over for one of them it was in a small cup and no ice, i mentioned it to the worker and as he attempted to remake the drink he made a pineapple one and tasted watered down, when i mention that it was wrong he finally made the ones we asked for and they both tasted watered down with no sugar. We just kept them to get the whole situation over with and when we got called for our food and got in the car the bread on both orders were rock solid and the tomatoes weren’t...
