Golden Town — Restaurant in Commerce City

Ordered delivery through MenuStar app at 5:59 pm on 1/29/22. Orange chicken was chewy, like it was overcooked or old. They also sent me garlic shrimp instead of garlic chicken, so I called and the lady who answered was really nice and they sent out an order of garlic chicken. It was just off- had a fish smell, which maybe they use fish sauce, ok, but it wasn’t very good. It was really greasy too. I called again to ask for my money back for at least the garlic chicken, and she told me she couldn’t do refunds since I ordered through MenuStar. So I tried to go back to MenuStar and of course they don’t have any option to report a problem with an order. To be fair, the lady who answered was really apologetic and I know restaurants are having a tough time with staffing right now. NEVER ORDER FOR DELIVERY!! My order never arrived and when I looked back it showed that the address autocorrected to the house across the street. It must have reverted to “use current location” even though I typed my address. I looked on the porch across the street and there was no food. I called the restaurant and she said that the food was given to a customer who said “oh! I am happy to have Chinese food tonight!” Well… no one lives across the street. It is an AirBnB and there is no one there this weekend. It is impossible that the driver spoke to someone there. We are on a cross country roadtrip and by the time we got to the hotel and found this place to order our food it was about, if not less, than an hour from closing time. Within minutes of putting my online order, I got a call to confirm my order from the lady working there. (I wish I would've gotten her name.) The moment I walked in I was welcome by her with a smile on her face and my food ready to go! She was so nice and friendly! It made it a pleasure to go there.
