!!!Shocked!!! The Granddaughter of the owner called me a B. As I drove up to the window the owners granddaughter handed me a burrito and said breakfast burrito 1/2 & 1/2. I put my hand out to hers as a normal response and realized she gave me the wrong order. Her mistake. The window was slightly open and I could hear her. She took it back very angry and started ranting to her co workers about why should she say the order if we are not going to listen and take the burrito. I did order two breakfast burritos, therefore when I heard breakfast burrito and she was handing it to me, I assumed it was mine. I told her she was being very rude talking about her customers in there the way she was. She said she was not. She then had the manager come over to say what she had said. The manager said nothing except, "do you now have the right burritos now." I told the manager my husband knows the owner and we will let her know about what happened here today. As I was driving away she said "I am the owners grand daughter, go ahead B She is representing the the Santiago's Business. If she cannot represent the company in a positive manner, she should be put in a position where she does not have to deal with customers. I would NEVER treat customers in...
Read moreIt hurts to feel like I’m spending money and trying to support businesses while simultaneously being disrespected.
They were rude and the manager sat there talking bad to me when I called in an order and paid in advance. I left a 18% tip on food that I called in 20 minutes early and had to still wait 35 minutes to get when I walked into the building.
I felt like they were looking at me and laughing and being disrespectful!
It feels like people don’t respect money anymore and they just expect tips For terrible service. I always try to leave Good tips when good service is given. The people at this place were rude.
I felt both unwelcome and unwanted, and like my money and business was not respected. I always try to support minorities and minority businesses and I very much like Santiagos as an overall business and I would love to spend money there, but I did not like the way that I was treated today
Santiagos was supposed to be the highlight of my day. This experience actually ruined my day. I’m very disappointed and I’m also upset.
it sucks when you get your energy and your hopes up and you expect good food and you feel like you’re getting slapped in the face in a place where you’re spending good money. Hard...
Read moreThis Santiago's is the best taste wise that I've been to. I have been to many locations including the original. They always make everything to order, so the food always tatse fresh. They are pretty good at keeping the heat consistency of their chili, e.g., hot, 1/2 and 1/2, mild. The only complaint I have is the ordering process and how the price varies when I order a smothered burrito with extra chili. So I have deducted a star for that. Depending on who's working I am either charged $0.50 or $2.00 for extra chili. I always order the same thing and order it exactly the same way through the drive through. I don't know if they have a hard time hearing over the intercom because it is so loud inside. I usually have to repeat my order multiple times and they have still messed up my order on several occasions, but they are always nice and apologetic about it and fix it right away. It typically takes a good 10-12 minutes to get through the drive through on a busy day, especially if they have to remake the order. But the food is good, and I am a weekly customer....
