Italy's Pizza & Pasta Company — Restaurant in Commerce

This is by far the best Italian food I have ever had. I have eaten Italian dishes all over this country. Boston, Chicago, and many other locations. To think this hidden gem in Commerce Ga. would be so good. We each got different dishes. If I go to any Italian restaurant, I always order the lasagna as that is my standard to judge the restaurant on. I was brought a huge portion, and the smell was over the top. I dug in and fell IN LOVE. It was by far the best lasagna I have ever eaten. I shared a couple of forks full with my wife as she got the ravioli, and it was just as amazing. I got the feeling it was going to be good as we went at lunch and the place was packed even so we got seated quickly and the staff was so very friendly. If you ever happen to be in Commerce, Ga, stop in and eat at this amazing restaurant, and if you live in the Atlanta area, make it a point to drive there. This was my second visit. We'll focus on this one. Ordered a two topping pizza, fries, two drinks and an order of their ziti. While the food mentioned was good, they forgot to bag up the salad and bread that comes with the ziti. And after I was asked to verify what dressing I would like with the salad. I didn't notice until I was home which is about 15 minutes away. I didn't bother calling as there was no easy resolve to the issue as I wouldn't be driving back just for a salad and bread and I paid cash so it's not like a refund was possible. While I could possibly overlook that, the main turnoff was while I'm waiting for my food to finish, I notice the gentleman working the grill that hes on his phone. With his gloves on. It defeats the purpose of the gloves. That needs nipped in the bud. As a former pizza shop owner, I don't think that gives a good look. I may have left a rave review before, and if I did...that's fine. They deserve TWO! First, the food is authentic, delicious and prepared to perfection; and the staff is personable, helpful, and extremely welcoming. Months ago we started with the pizza and consistently ordered pizza every time. Have you ever gone to a restaurant and repeatedly ordered the same thing - because it is just that good?! That was us. Until we added a grilled chicken Caesar salad. It was amazing! The chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly. Then we really did a deep dive and ordered the eggplant parmesan. Again...another of our favorites. Tonight we are having company from out of state, so why would I cook when I can be certain everything from Italy's in Commerce will be perfect?
