Today on veterans day, which I, am a vet went for breakfast this morning with my wife of 43 yrs, sat down it was not Too busy maybe 15 people dining.we had no silverware, we waited patiently for 20 mins no water coffee.no waiter or waitress 5 other families came in and were offered coffee, we asked can we have a waiter plz wait another 20 mins 3 of the families who were seated after us ordered and got their drinks. We were frustrated especially I had my veterans had and shirt and military ring on and still were ignored.we got up after50 mins with out getting even water or silverware. We proceededto sugar plum in downtown Concord. It was full we were seated within 10 mins got our coffee in 2ins which was a pleasant surprise after a bad experience at buttercup.we got our food within 10 mins. I, as a veteran high recommend sugar plum. And denounce the butter cup at least for this veteran.ther is one more recommended commitment the sugar plum is much cheaper and good portions for...

Went on easter sunday around brunch time. Expected it to be busier than it was which was nice. Got seated quickly and was able to make my order promptly which was also nice. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs with potatoes O'Brien. I asked for my eggs fried over medium and got them over easy. The potatoes had decent seasoning but were overly soft with little to no sign of browning. The chicken fried steak was bland as well as the gravy. Even with a bland steak (which is hard to do when it's fried) the gravy should have been able to save it. It didn't. Not much fluff to it or flavor. Maybe if I order something else and get my eggs scrambled they might be able to redeem themselves. I will give them another chance and give a better rating if there is any...

Seats and tables were both obviously dirty, mind you we were seated twice. Both of which we had to remove they last guests leftovers ourselfs before sitting down. Plate and silverware where i sat were dirty. Staff is so so a few rude ones, a few genuinely nice ones and then they have a few sarcastically nice( you know the ones that are not saying rude things but their "sorry about that", "yeah no problem" "your welcome" or "thank you have a great day" all sound as if they just said "F* you b**!" As far as food, their menu is more limited than I remember. Our food arrived in a reasonable time. Not the greatest but edible. I definitely will not be coming back. Over priced for the quality of food...
