Two times cops have been called on the disgusting treatment DO NOT DARE complain about maintenance ,faulty machines and appliance you will be mistreated, 2 managers have left so far Crystal other leasing agent will promise u anything once again till u have a complaint then acts like she doesnt know what is going, her job is what she cares about only,she good at lying to your face about the status on a situation. District manager Gabe will belittle try to intimidate tenants if u dare to speak out on the scam they have going on here, Gabe said they are allowed to come into your unit without giving u time they just have to put notice during office hours this dude is on serious EGO trip. Which what he stated is against the law these ppl think their above it then act like you are the problem. If they dont think anything is wrong even though multiple ppl have complain about same issue they hide in the office so they dont have to hear complaints or say nothing is wrong your making it up. If you want wait long periods of time for maintenance even on important things this not this place to live at and if they don't feel anything is broken they will not fix it. Once you sign the lease they can careless about u, all this complex cares about is charging the max price for their apartments they love use word free market. BEWARE if you get an apartment with a washer and dryer in the unit, you are LITERALLY wasting your time and money. They will not compensate knowing the fact that the machines can only wash small loads 4 to 5 pieces of clothing it takes about 8 hrs to do one load and it shakes the whole apartment really loud like helicopter is taking off NO JOKE your downstairs or upstairs neighbor can hear your machine and vice versa.Management has received numerous complaints from several tenants that are living in this building even complaints to the city of concord at this point have been made they know they messed up by adding these defaulted loud shaky machines yet they will NOT compensate the tenants having to pay over 1900 month and that are having to do their laundry in there downstairs facility or even bother to lower the rent for anybody knowing their mistake which would be the right thing to do all they will say is u sign the lease oh well. Another thing they act like didn't know how the water bill breaks down which is BS the water company has been billing the complex the same way from the start expect to pay high water bills they don't tell you be paying automatically $120 water & garbage bills when your only really consuming about $30 worth of water a month. tenants in our building are seeking legal help they will not compensate, lower your rent or even release tenants from their lease in good terms until your almost done with ur lease so u have no choice to just finish your lease. Gabe made it VERY CLEAR he can care less we're having to spend money on doing laundry outside of our apartments even though we're getting charged the max price for these units he also mentioned he usually does not speak to tenants as if us tenants are lower than him. Do not put yourself in position to have to deal with this man do, go somewhere where it's cheaper and don't have to worry about the shadiness. These good reviews u read there probably written by staff to fool ppl. Offering tenants $250 referrals to get people to come and live here I wouldn't refer anybody here for $1,000 that should say a lot. Also expect to pay for their trash like toilets, fridge, cabinet piece etc since they dont like to spend the money on junkyard. Hello my name is Jeanette I currently live at the Diablo view apartments I moved in this year in March of 2020 I actually found these apartments on Facebook and my very first encounter with the apartment manager Waheed has been absolutely wonderful and I mean a great and pleasant experience. I was so scared and I didn’t know if I was going to get approved or not but Waheed was very assuring and positive and made me feel comfortable he told me not to worry about anything and how everything was going to be okay no matter what and how he was going to do whatever to help me and he did just that the process was Easy and Waheed walked me through every step works just can’t even explain I got a whole remodeled apartment with beautiful appliances and a brand new microwave, whenever I had a problem or situation with something in the apartment Waheed was on top of everything and sent the maintenance guy right away and fixed my issue and the maintenance guy is really nice and sweet the whole staff I would definitely give Diablo view apartments the highest and I mean the highest reviews I give 100 stars literally and I am not just saying that this place is wonderful and the property is beautiful and it’s in a nice area of concord and I feel absolutely safe and it’s pet friendly and the rent is affordable. I've lived here for 4 months and I would like to say that it's a nice place to live I also like to say that the management team and maintenance department headed by Dwayne Cole has been extremely helpful Dwayne is not only an excellent maintenance man who really knows his business but he's also been a friend I live alone and so sometimes it's nice to have someone to talk to Dwayne has always been kind patient and really listen to what I had to say he's really giving me the time of day if we had more people in the world like Dwayne the world really would be a gentler kinder more loving place to live. I wanted to give an update now because because it's been almost a year now since I first wrote this review and a full year of my tenancy. I would like to once again give a big shout-out to Lauren Sikes, manager here at the complex. She, over the last year as well as the maintenance man Duane Cole, has been very patient and kind in helping me to navigate my tenancy choices and making sure my apartment is always in tip-top condition in great working order. I have both physical and mental disabilities so having such a wonderful patient and kind team behind me makes a world of difference.
