If you have anything you need to fax in a halfway professional volume or manner do not go here. Step up to the printer/ fax machine it could only accept half the amount of paper to be faxed at no point did it say how much it was per page but we will get there⌠so we chop the documents to be sent in half and in all fairness a decent amount but definitely not unreasonable (probably a third of a regular wad of paper you would put in your printer). The machine scans the pages, still no price but gives us an estimate waiting time of 37 minutes for half of what we need sent to be sent⌠I ask if it would not be more efficient to scan instead of fax the clerk said no, that the time it took depended on the distance to which one is faxing (Concord to Danville 20 min drive LOL) and it would be cheaper to fax than to scan so ok I guess we will wait, a good amount of time later the first half is sent and says something like âsuceffully sentâand charged $98.70 (less than 50pages) and we still have half more to go so obviously we decide against that as one can probably buy a fax machine for half of what was already spent. As no one needs for half a fax sent, seeing our disscontempt, the clerk suggested a refund. He gave us a receipt and suggested we go to check out at this point despite the crazy price and amazing waiting time we still have no major issue as we are following reasonable customer service. This is where it gets complicated The cashier isnât able to reverse the transaction and suggests store credit. And no one needs 98 dollars of pens and paper we declined and asked if he could try again, he politely did, tried several other times/cards and as he couldnât reverse the transaction he asked for the manager, still no major issues despite being in the store for about an hour now. The manager steps in, tries once and then seeing she canât reverse the transaction switches the speech and says oh well the fax successfully went through so we canât issue a refund, to which I start explaining that the price per copy wasnât disclosed and that we were only able to do half of our fax and that no one in their right mind would accept to pay 200$ to send a fax for less than 20 miles travel. Instead of listening to our very valid point she started talking over me with a âblack femaleâ entitled stance. At that point she started arguing about whom was talking over who and ask me to leave the store or she wouldnât assist my friend in the refund. Need I say more? Everything is verifiable on their camera and audio surveillance recordings Staples corp...
Read moreI went to this location for the first time on 4/5/25 and will not go to location again, due to the horrible customer service. The staff on this day was all females and an exception to one staff person, I encountered three (3) staff members and they all were rude, especially the manager that day. I went to use the shredding service. The shredder bin was full and I had to ask them to bring an empty bin. I requested a manager. The manager who had a nasty disposition brought bin. She had a very unpleasant personality. I was offended by the fact that she asked the the cashier did I pay for the service, not me ,, as if I was trying to trying to steal the service. I had my receipt but she never asked me. I was very offended because the manager did not ask me and the procedure is to pay first, then put the items to be shredded in the bin. The fact that I requested an empty bin should have been an indication that I paid. I felt âracially profiledâ surprisingly by a person of color ( by a person who appeared to be a person of color). I did not say anything at the time. I just put my items in the bin and exited. Upon my exit, there was one staff member a nice young lady, who appeared to be the youngest of the staff who said, âthank you for coming to Staples.â I told her thank you and she was the best customer service that I received and I thanked her. I said all this to say. I will not go to this...
Read moreShipping Services: I shipped using Staples USPS shipping services. Staples provided a receipt showing the drop off and the tracking number. Great drop off experience.
The problems is that Staples computer system isn't linked to the USPS system so when Staples scanned in the package and gave me a receipt that shows the USPS tracking number and date of acceptance, the drop off is not actually logged in at USPS.
And then Staples didn't tendered the package to USPS until 3 days after drop-off.
I would have been better off taking my package elsewhere.
My package were date critical return items. And the return was cancelled because the package wasn't actually registered as accepted by USPS until after business hours on the 3rd day after Staples accepted it. Friday drop-off, Monday evening acceptance by USPS.
The Staples computer system is not linked to USPS system at all. So the receipt they gave me is not proof of shipment at all. I feel like I was tricked into believing Staples scanning the package and giving me a receipt with the tracking number would mean the package was actually accepted. This is not the case, giving your USPS packages to Staples is the same as leaving them in a private outgoing mail bin and hoping...
