Captain's Chest Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Concord

Chris the bartender did an awesome job dealing with 3 drunks who refused to leave at last call and were highly aggressive with him. He was firm yet respectful while they screamed at him (especially the guy) using slurs and accusing him of being misogynistic towards women (as he wouldn't let them get their way). They were making comments as to how they were so much more intelligent than him and putting him down but he stayed calm way beyond where I would have (Love it when people think they're the smartest person around).

The guy was getting really physically aggressive (over 5 minutes before 0200Hrs) until I stepped in to stop it (I'm not a small guy).

Its a shame we don't require maturity cards in addition to ID cards. Please if you have a superiority complex (believing you are better than everyone else) go somewhere else where they will coddle you like your mommy does. This is a blue collar bar with good salt-of-the-earth people.

Karaoke nights are awesome!

This is a wonderful little dive bar near our home.

It'll take a couple visits for you to fall in love, so don't treat this place like a one night stand. Go out with her for a night, then go back to get to know her better in a few days, and I promise, you'll fall in love. Think of it as an open relationship. You can keep seeing the other bars you love, you just get to have even more fun now with something new.

They are known for karaoke on Wednesday nights, but we prefer walking over on weekend afternoons and staying for a Bloody Mary and a delicious kamikaze. Bill the owner needs to make your kamikaze shot. He does a tremendous job running the place and his drinks are the best. He's indeed a fine captain of this treasure at Oak...

The crowd sets the tone of this place, especially being a karaoke bar. If generations collide then it's just one of those nights that it might be a bore. I usually have a good time here. The bartenders are welcoming, and when they do get those customers who tend to be bad apples then I'm so sorry for them and I hope they have it better next time. The place serves its purpose well being an entertainment venue. If people were just a little more open-minded to different generations of music, then this place would be the place to have fun throughout the night. Thanks for being awesome staff and keep...
