Milano's Pizza — Restaurant in Concord

I ordered from Milano's tonight as a special rainy day treat for myself and my young daughter. We ordered quick, simple stuff (chicken tenders, a side, and a sandwich) on their website and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes late, and when I got there the food wasn't ready yet so the man behind the counter asked me to wait another few minutes. Finally after another 10 minutes of waiting passed, he asked me how I wanted to pay. When I reminded him that I had ordered on their website and had already paid, he said "okay", pulled my order form from the cash register, and just then gave it to the cook. I waited another good 20 minutes (altogether almost an hour) to get my food. I was there so long that another customer made a negative comment to me about the service I was being provided. I understand that things happen sometimes, but nobody from the restaurant owned up and tried to make things right with me. They really just sent me on my way. And other customers took notice of this. Altogether, I was extremely displeased with the customer service and felt pretty brushed off. Additionally the food really wasn't great. I got a steak and cheese sub, and there was barely any cheese on it and the meat was seasoned strangely. Previously I ordered from Milano's and the person behind the counter was rude (the man tonight at least wasn't rude, just didn't have his act together and was passive about correcting it). I assumed it was an off day and gave it another chance. I won't be returning after tonight's incident. It is not...

We have been coming here for three years and tonight was the worst service we have had! My sub was made with spoiled meat. I I called and talked to the owner into which he said to bring the sub back and he would make something different. Well my fiancé brought the sub back and in front of a packed restaurant the owner argued and said the meat isn't bad! Then he proceeded to get the meat they used from out back and said "here try it! It's not bad!!" Yelling at him in front of everyone!He then was going to charge him the difference of $2 between a small pizza and the disgusting spoiled meat sub!!! Are you f*%#ing kidding!? Never ever again is my family going there! We were loyal customers that frequented Milanos on a bi-weekly basis! To be treated and humiliated like that in front of other people and told we are wrong....Horrible...

Update start 5/6/24 I ordered a small cheese pizza and again, overcharged, extremely over-cheesed and a bit soggy. I also ordered a large chicken Caesar salad - my total was close to $23?! He wouldn't charge me the mini lunch menu price for pizza. The Caesar dressing was extremely mustardy which isn't appealing to me. The chicken was like rubber and at the bottom there were some shredded?? diced?? carrots were slimy like they were old. End of update. I ordered a small cheese pizza and fish and chips off lunch menu. Cost was well over their online menu prices. Fries were soggy. The four fish pieces were ok - nothing like I remember. The pizza was extremely over-cheesed IMO and yes I do like a cheesy pizza. Found it to be very overpriced for...
