The service I had here was beyond horrible
I want to start by saying the food was very great, amazing bbq burger, and bacon burger and please try their chipotle aoli with sweet potato fries. My fave! Now let me explain my time here, while I had my 8 month old son with me too.
I went to the take out line to order and they said they didn’t have change. She goes saying this by going “umm.. “ then stalls looking and gives me this look and says “I…. Iiii don’t have that sooo… ummm .. hold on” and walks away saying the other girl will help me eventually. So I wait. 15 minutes or so waiting.
Then next cashier comes and actually takes the next person and give them their change before me and then they tell me again “oh we don’t have enough now we just used it, so you have card?!” I’m like no! I don’t I only have cash and really you just took someone else and gave them the change that you could’ve given to me??
They said okay wait and the other guy sees the issue who ordered so he insisted he had card but their sign says cash preferred even! Lol. So the guy gets a refund (I still don’t have my change here), At first they forget me. Then another female says what about her? While there’s a huge line of 3 people or 4 behind me waiting. and after that they finally wait 5 more minutes before taking giving me my change.
The whole time the two 16-17 year old females with brown hair or dark hair, looks flustered, confused and unsure of how to do this whole thing, disagreeing back and forth about how to handle this.
Why have a sign saying cash preferred if you can’t even give change? And also, please be kind and take orders and give change in the order received you don’t just ignore a customer and help everyone else. Communicate to staff don’t just say someone will help me then don’t communicate to them clearly that I’m waiting.
Also while this is happened other employees see me obviously looking for help waiting and they flat out ignore me yet keep staring at me 3-4 times over 5-10 minutes. Awkward. I feel ignored.
I was very kind the whole time. even gave them a tip and thanked the gentleman who I walked back in to get my chipotle aioli sauce.
I am a very patient person too and just had to write because this was really shocking. The food was very good though! I want to express that.
Going there again tonight let’s hope this is different...
Read moreI can get a combo meal at Jack in the Box for the same price as just a burger here, and not only will I not be disappointed, it'll be better.
I asked for brioche bun. I got a baguette. (Why is a baguette even an option?)
I asked for medium rare. I got well done.
I asked for garlic on my onion rings. I got garlic oil.
I asked for lettuce on my burger. I got a single, sad leaf, wilted, warm, and covered in grease and pickle juice, lying on the bottom of the box, under the baguette bun (again, why a baguette?!?)
I asked for a tomato, I got a tomato heel the size of a half dollar that was fifty percent fiber from the stem.
Everything was cold, despite my having grabbed it right as it came out of the back and living a two minute drive away. Same distance as the Jack in the Box, by the way, and getting the food hot is never a problem for them.
It didn't even feel like a unified, coherent sandwich. I got a piece of bread, a patty with some cheese melted on to it (which suggests it was hot at some point), and a pile of warm vegetables off to the side. Nothing to make it feel like this is a single thing that all works together. No mayonnaise, no mustard, no house sauce, just a bunch of stuff thrown in a cheap plastic box.
The vegetables, by the way, include a pickle, just sitting on the bottom of the box. I get that some people love the things, and those people can have all the pickles that are allocated to me, and I wish them and their pickles all the happiness in the world, but pickle juice infects everything it touches, anything nearby, and any decent chef should know that. So everything that I paid for stinks like something I hate. They might as well have pissed on it. Would have saved money on the pickle.
I gave them thirty bucks and got a box of disappointment. Learn from my mistake.
They get two stars instead of one because the onion rings crunched. That they managed to crunch when they were ice cold was pretty impressive; imagine what they'd...
Read moreWe just went to monas on oak grove. We recieved the worst service. We were a party of 10 after my daughters promotion. The place was a little busy and we wauted for a table. We saw a table big enough for us and just asked if the taboe could be cleaned. The server said I don't know? It looked like he was the only person working. What his response should have been "I'm the only person serving and it maybe a little bit." But no he was very rude. We saw kids coming from the high school near by and they got their food before we even were asked what we wanted to order. I got up to tell this person (I wish I got his name) that the other table who was seated after us already got their food. He said "if you don't like the service you can leave". I have never had anyone tell me this. We left and will never come back. I wish the Mona on Clayton road was open way better service. I can't see any business running like this and i don't see this place staying open with service like this....
