I went online and I ordered mozzarella sticks while on my lunch hour paid for them online and they gave me a pickup time of about 20 minutes so I went in at that time and was told it would be about 10 more minutes about 5 minutes later I was informed that they were out of mozzarella sticks. So now over 30 minutes of my lunch hour was used up waiting for my lunch that they didn't have and that was already paid for. 5 minutes after I placed the order online and paid for it, I got an email notification stating that the location received my order and was preparing it. My question is, if they received my order and knew they were out of mozzarella sticks, why didnt they call my phone to let me know right away? Is this how business is handled at Mountain Mike's? This was completely unprofessional and should not happen. Be careful if you're going on your lunch hour or anytime at this location, you might not get the food that you ordered. The young lady that was working felt bad so I ended up just telling her to make me a ham and pineapple personal pizza and would call it even she ended up making me a small pizza which was very kind of her and very appreciated, but they still should notify the customer if they're out of something before they wait 30 minutes...
Read moreIn the back of my mind, I knew there was a reason that we had not ordered from Mountain Mikes in years and the memory came rushing back. Called to order pizza and put on hold for 10 minutes, hung up and tried again, stayed on hold for nearly 10 minutes again and hung up and decided to order online and pick it up. Placed my order an the confirmation email was for Antioch (I live 1.2 miles away from the Concord store) Frantically call and cancel that order. I had reached the end of my rope so my lovely wife called and was lucky enough to reach someone. Placed the order and closer to the hour mark than the 45 minutes they said and the pizza shows up. Well I personally am not a fan of super greasy cold pizza but if you are, this is your place. Called and complained and was offered a replacement, at this point it was 8:30 and we were not interested in eating that late. They offered a $10.00 discount on our next order which is a pretty good bet on their part because we will never take...
Read moreI went to Mountain Mike's Pizza in Concord CA to get a Veggiemore. Usually I get a large but the attitude of the staff made me decide to order a smaller pizza. I felt like they were being prejudice toward me. It's a business keep your opinions to gossip time.
There were five employees in the store but the cashier was preparing the pizzas. The cleanliness of someone handling cash and preparing pizzas is very low.
I read another review from one week ago and this person got food poisoning. The pizza I got was less than the quality of Dominos Pizza. It was under cooked and doughy. I pray I do not get food poisoning. I haven't been to Domino's in years.
I will return to my old Mountain Mike's location next time. We thought go close to home but the drive will be worth my health and comfort. The Concord location should be closed for wasting my time, and my money.
Thanks to other Mountain Mike locations that have...
