Hardee’s — Restaurant in Conover

We went through the drive thru at the Conover NC location and ordered 2 of the $5.99 bags. Hot ham and cheese and the cheese burger. There were hardly any cars in the parking lot, and another car behind us in the drive thru. We placed our order, paid, and were told to pull forward to wait on the food. I thought that was a good sign that our food was going to be nice and fresh. After what seemed like a long time, I got out of the car and went in, myself, to retrieve the food. I met the same person from the drive thru on his way out to bring the food. I took our order to the car and, the fries were very hot. That's a good thing! They lacked a little salt, but that's cool. The burgers were HORRIBLE! Charbroiled went way overboard to flat out burnt, cold, and dried out. The bun was hard, stale, and dry as well. The, alleged, "Hot" ham and cheese was cold with unmelted cheese, and the bun was the same hard and stale. We managed to choke it down with the aid of a few ketchup packets I found in the dash, and our drinks that came with the meals. I am usually very forgiving with drive thru food, as I know it's not five star or anything, but this was too much even for me. This review almost matches exactly to one from 5 months ago. I like Hardee's, but I can't say that I'll revisit this...

i went here recently to order some food for my dad. at the time i arrived there was no one waiting in line. the employee who was around the cash register but seemed like her mind was elsewhere, she was mumbling to herself. after another few minutes, she finally said 'can i help you?' i said yes, i told her what i wanted, then i had to repeat the order 3 times before she got it right. in the mean time, 6 other customers were waiting behind me. after 35 mins of waiting on my order, the employees behind the counter were wondering around as if lost an unsure what to do. the customers that came in behind me were growing impatient waiting on their food. i ask the employee behind the counter about my order.. she said it coming 'it just takes a little while' an mumbled something under her breath. well after close to 45 mins i walked out of hardees with my dads food. my dad told me the burger was burnt an the fries were cold. we do not recommend getting anything from this hardees.. extremely slow service, wandering employees an burnt/cold food an being disrespected by employees who seem to hate working there. it took the 45 mins to come up with a burger an...

Went in at 12:30PM on a Friday. 1 customer inside, 1 car in drive-thru, and 2 employees on break. Not much of a lunch rush I guess. I ordered a 3 piece tender combo. Once I ordered I sat down with my drink. The gentleman that took my order walks towards me with a bag. I start to get up to meet him because I thought it was mine. He looks at me and says "you waiting on something?". I just ordered it and he can't remember? That order was for the car parked outside, that was there when I arrived. I went to the counter, and they had given my order to someone else? Don't know who? Not many people around. I finally get my food. It was as expected for my order. Food was good. Place has dirty tables, someone's food left on another table, and just a cluttered mess. Meanwhile, the 2 guys on break. One is sleeping and playing loud music, other one goes to the gas station across the street and comes back with I believe to be alcohol and is drinking while on break. Never will make the mistake of...
