Bojangles — Restaurant in Conover

I am not a customer of this restaurant anymore for good reason, I am a DoorDash delivery driver. This restaurant does not care one bit about filling third party delivery orders. I've had many bad experiences here but fortunately today will be my last. A week ago I waited over 30 minutes for an order while the old woman tending the cash register took and filled (not exaggerating) 20+ in store orders. Another dasher was there and, when he politely asked for an update on his order, she snapped at him and said "They're working on it!" Mind you, this dasher had been here before me and he waited at least fifteen minutes from the time I got there to ask. Once i had waited thirty minutes I unassigned my delivery and as I was leaving that woman sarcastically called "Byeee!" to me when I had not even spoken to her the entire time. Or perhaps the time I waited in the drive thru line for 30 minutes for someone's delivery amd was asked to pull out of the drive thru to wait longer, despite the fact that my customer's order had been placed long before the people ordering in the drive thru. Today was a similar experience. So many walk in customers were completely served yet my order was no where to be found. 25+ minutes later I received it. I don't know why they don't understand that the delivery customer is STILL THEIR CUSTOMER and they don't deserve to pay good money to be treated like second class customers. In fact, they pay more. And the rudeness to the drivers that are simply doing a service is unacceptable. That woman has been nothing but unpleasant every time I have been there no matter how polite I am. If this location has no interest in complying with the terms of their contract with DoorDash (i.e., setting correct pick up times, calling the customer themselves when something is out of stock, keeping an updated menu, etc) then perhaps they should cancel their contract.

Ok I feel I just have to write another issue about the Conover NC Bojangles. I bought a Cajun chicken biscuit combo Bo sized with half sweet, half unsweetened tea about a month ago. The chicken was uncooked inside and the tea was sweet, although I always ask for hot fries and the fries were hot. The chicken was uneatable except the very edges and the tea was undrinkable. I posted and the mgn. Mike called me so nice and apologetic and said my meal was free and to come back and he would leave a note. I could get the same thing I had ordered. So today May 2nd at 11:10 or 15 I went back and ordered the same thing. When I got to the window the little girl at the window was so sweet and I said where is my tea and are my fries hot? She looked in the bag and could not tell me if they were hot or not, which they were not, but the evidently assistant mgn. or whatever she was, came to the window and said you only get food we don't give away drinks. I said Mike told me to order what I had before and there would be no charge. Again she was showing frustration and said again we do not give drinks and turned around to say something to another lady about it and the girl at the window looked embarrassed as I was getting embarrassed as she was making a BIG deal about it. People were parked behind me and the little girl at the window handed me a drink. I assured it it was not her fought and thanked her. Been coming to this location since I was a small kid with my father. We used to make extra time to go here together. After the location was remodeled from its original it was never the same. Over the last 2 to 3 years everytime I would go to this location, something was always wrong. Either missing items or items made wrong. On today's visit I bought lunch for my family of 4. My total was $40 and I simply ask for two sauces to go with my lunch. I was then told by the girl at the window with a snarky attitude that it was be an extra 42 cents for sauce. I thought she was joking and told her I just spent 40 bucks I'm sure you can through in a couple sauces. She said okay and walk away to get my order. She handed me the bag and I checked my order and noticed no sauce. I kinda laughed and asked the girl again for two sauces, and she again said 42 cents. At this point I realized she was being serious so I asked to speak with the manager. The manager came over with a even bigger attitude and immediately said if I wanted sauces it would be 42 cents. I explained how much money this location had shafted me over the years and I just spent 40 dollars. She refused and said the only way I would get anything extra was to pay for it. I drove away.

I get home to find 3 sporks, 18 napkins , and 3 straws. I ordered one item requiring a spork and 1 drink. The amount of money wasted on the unessary items given to me would have paid for my extra sauce . Needless to say I will no longer come to this location and I encourage others to...
