I used to go to this restaurant all the time until I moved so now I only get to go when I'm in the area, but the experience my husband and I had with our friends recently was not great.
The inside of the restaurant was cozy and clean, no issues there. The waitress was rude, though she looked like a teenager so I figured maybe she's just new and learning. We got eggrolls for an appetizer and they came out cold. Our friend had to get up to find the waitress as she disappeared after bringing the food to the table without saying a word. We did get a replacement order but it was drenched in oil. It was good but I spent more time patting the oil off than eating. We had a couple of other fried foods at the table and they were all drenched in oil; I guess they weren't strained before being put onto the plate? Additionally, the waitress was nowhere to be seen after we got the appetizers and someone else brought our food to the table. I wish he would've been our server because he was a lot friendlier.
After the eggrolls, we hoped we wouldn't have to send back any other food but I found a hair in mine so we sent it back. This prompted my friend to inspect her food and sure enough, she found a hair too. At that point, we just got up to leave as we'd all lost our appetites. We notified them that we were leaving and the owner apologized for the experience but informed us that we still had to pay for our drinks (soda and tea) which was kind of odd. We were also questioned about what kind of hair we found in the food-- length, color, etc. It definitely was not from our heads so I'm not sure why we were asked, especially when they could look at the plate and still see it sitting there.

Read moreI have been going here since i was in high school so over 10 years and NEVER complained well after last night I will NEVER go back... I ordered Hibachi chicken with the noodles instead of rice ....they brought me something with cabbage weird looking carrots and broccoli...no mushrooms at all in this mess. I asked the girl what it was and she said sobe...which btw I had never seen let alone ordered so I asked about my hibachi and she said she tought i wanted the flavor.....really. Wth so once the owner came over there i thought for sure she would fix it.. NOPE she told me it was my fault for how i ordered it that i should have told her i wanted hibachi chicken with mushroom and noodle..... She refused to change it and told me from a business perspective I needed to see this was my fault and if she changed it for me she would be out money..... I was speechless...i had seen her be rude to other customers throughout the years and always thought they must have did something because shes always been so nice nope I just had never complained...wow she was AWFUL...NEVER EVER will me or my family ever go back and we seriously ate there sometimes a couple times in 1 week... Got home to this kids meal portion. Called back and the manager on duty seem to think this is the definition of Extra Mushrooms. She said she even looked at it herself and thought it was Okay. Funny as I ask to speak to the owner but she wasn’t there but her car was parked out front. Never have I had issue with this place But it has been 4-5 months since I last ate here.. Prices are up but portion are smaller and when you take carrots out and substitute for extra mushroom They shorten the amount of mushroom. Even on a regular plate there is more than my 6-7 pieces of mushrooms. This is ridiculous and uncall for. Order adult size and paid for adult size but got a kid portion. If I had order one plate it’ll be one thing, but I order total of 6 entrees It adds up and portion and the so call EXTRA is uncall for. They offered me if I want to drive back they’ll give me more mushrooms. Like imma drive 25 mins round trip? Seriously?
