We came here when it was first open, and we advertised to our family and friends. Since then the quality and quantity have gone down a lot. Like many people complaints is the quality and quantity. I used to often order to go and several times I get 3-4 thin slices of meat. I was upset but never called in complaint. Even when I explain to the staff during my ordering about the history of my previous order, so they could be aware. I understand mistake happens. But not when it is repeatedly happening. We call that a dishonest business. Just be upfront and tell your guest exactly what they get for the price. Then your business could pivot around the cost for receipts of quantity and quality. Don't try to rip people off by doing petty things. Time is rough for everyone don't try to rip off your customer. give them a fair meal and they will come back for more. Each dish that had to be redo or take back only cost a few $$$ to make. Your markup up is around 300-400% Consider those few dollar you lost as your pay advertisement. You are in a business of food and satisfaction. If you fail neither one of those you will fail or struggling. That being said, I have not dine in or togo for a while. People that I know in my circle are doing the same without me telling them. I go to pho Dat off of 105. So far their food and service is great. Only time will tell. Good luck on your restaurant and I hope you change...
Read moreI was introduced to Vietnamese cuisine by a friend from work about 15 years ago. Immediately, this glorious food became a weekly meal for me and, eventually, my family.
I have enjoyed the food in dozens of Vietnamese restaurants throughout Austin, San Antonio and Houston. Indeed, I did acquire a short list of favorite places in Central Texas, and they were fantastic....so good in fact, I figured I had reached the pinnacle of what Vietnamese food could be (that is, outside of Vietnam). Well, I was wrong, and it was Conroe's Fabulous Pho that showed me "the way".
You can find good Pho, Fish Balls and Pork Vermicelli in quite a few places...there is no doubt about that, however, there is zero comparison to the freshness of the ingredients used at Fabulous Pho. Whether it is the extremely fresh (and nicely chopped) vegetables, or the perfectly chosen star anise, the flavor comes through in all of their dishes.
Simply put, you cannot achieve this level of quality without paying attention to the small details of choosing quality, fresh ingredients, keeping your kitchen very clean and having very a qualified chef and great cooks. Their service is also quite splendid.
Here are the meals me and my family usually get:
Pho (Filet Mignon) Vermicelli with Grilled Pork and egg roll Udon Noodles with seafood Pan Fried Rice Noodles with Shrimp Fried...
Read moreI really wanted to give this place another chance I was genuinely craving Vietnamese food and hoped things had improved. Unfortunately, my experience this time was worse than before.
When we arrived, the staff was noticeably rude and unwelcoming. One woman in particular was extremely dismissive and made it clear we weren’t a priority. We asked for lemonade, and she told us it would take about 15 minutes to prepare which we completely understood, since there were other customers. But her tone and attitude were unnecessarily harsh, and it felt like we were being talked down to just for making a simple request.
This was my third attempt to enjoy a meal here, and sadly, I couldn’t even stay because of the way we were treated. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant I was choosing to support. It’s disappointing to be met with such poor customer service when you’re coming in with good intentions and an open mind.
I’m not sure if others have had similar experiences, but I felt it was important to share mine so people are aware. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect especially when bringing business to...
