Mama Juanita's — Restaurant in Conroe

This place was terrible. Someone recomended this restaurant to us so we were excited to go. When we got there we were greeted and ushered to a table. They got our drinks and we ordered queso. It was served with cold stale fried flour chips. Not crunchy..chewey! We were very nice and asked them if we could have them replaced with fresh chips. Second basket...cold,stale, chewey chips. Didnt complain. Mgr came back and we Just ordered some plain flour tortillas for our queso.

Food came. Ckn fajita was very dry. Beef fajita was hard and chewey with grissel. Still we ate around what didnt like because we were visiting with friends and we were hungry. Again....did not complain.

Our waiter never came back after he gave us drinks. He didnt bring our food or ever even refill our drinks...

We finally snatched the waiter when he passed by our table and asked for take out containers.( there was plenty leftover to take home to our pooches) We got the containers sat down in front of the table without a word to us. And no bill. So we wait...and he Never brings one. Fifteen min later a lady was busing a table behind us and we actually asked for a bill...

Another 15-20 minutes later the first waiter finally brought our bill. Most all of us at the table were frustrated by now from the attitudes and the waits plus the food wasnt good.

We will NEVER go back here. The whole experience was...

09-14-2017 My husband, brother-in-law, and I went for dinner and of course had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table. While we were waiting we were looking at the menu so we knew what we wanted. Once we finally got seated we told our waitress when we wanted to drink and went ahead and orderd our food along with a large queso while we waited. We asked the guy who brought is our chips and salsa for some green sauce and we waited for 10 minutes for him to never even come back, so we asked our waitress and she said they were out and we would have some on 5 minutes. 15 minutes passed by after we were told it would be out in 5 minutes just to get told again that there wasn't any. So we just waited for our food. It was already time for a refill on our drinks so we out them at the edge at the table and they never got refiled. By this time it has been an hour since we had ordered our food. We asked if it was on it's way out and they haven't even started cooking it!!! So with all of this being said, my husband was ready to go so we left. And I'm here writing this because I really wanted a beef fajita quesadilla that i had been craving and i didnt even get it. I literally went home crying, pissed off because that's all I wanted and instead I had to go home and eat whatever we had...

Placed an order on their website today. The confirmation email said to pick it up between 5:45-5:50. When we arrived at 5:40, we were told that they don’t accept online orders, they don’t have the capability. Showed the confirmation email for proof.

Then the manager went “looking” through his system for the order. He was able to find each item we ordered but still insisted that they couldn’t take the order on their website.

He tried multiple times to get me to give him my credit card so he could charge me. When I showed him the pending on charge on my bank app, he tried telling me that pending means I haven’t actually paid yet… seriously? So, what does that mean about the other two pending charges from purchases I made this morning? Especially since I have possession of those items?!?!

I convinced him to call the owner. My Spanish is only good for insulting people’s mothers, so I have no idea what they said to each other.

Turns out they DO ACCEPT online orders, since it had been sitting in a bag on a bench the whole time!

Really not happy with this intersection (you can probably tell due to the insane length of this post)!

10/10 would not recommend. You’re better off going next door to Taco Bell.

FYI—Taco Bell can take online/app orders...
