Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Conroe

Placed an order online for pick-up. On arrival the four staff were cutting up in front of the store. Order wasnt packed even though it was placed 28 min prior. They asked us to pull around. Thankfully we checked order..it was wrong chubby Hispanic in red came back out and acted aloof said nothing is missing..counted box and several were. He said ok went back in came out after minutes handed a bag w 1 solitary donut..um nah. Honked for his goofy self to come back he said what my daughter had to actually go inside. They said oh we dont make one if the donuts in your order.. in a business you state that on our arrival right and say what should we substitute it with.. not at this store. They feel fully valid in letting us pay for a product and not providing and letting us go home to realize they are crooked. Skinny Hispanic w a bowl hair cut attempted to mad dog me.. his dad should take a belt to him more. Whomever owns this establishment should be on site if their livelihood depends on building a relationship with the customers in this community!!! Bad bad...

Last Sat., I had 4 little kids at a sleepover party waiting for some donuts— it was 9:45 am when I pulled up to this brand new Shipleys in my neighborhood— I went through the drive thru —ordered 1/2 dozen glazed ( they were ice cold. ), a dozen assorted mixed… I’m thinking a pink with sprinkles! A couple jelly filled ! Maybe a powered one, a maple cake ?! Maybe a blue iced with sprinkles, a couple chocolate ones —NOPE. they gave me 12 of their ugliest donuts, 6 brown frosted with walnuts, 4 white frosted with walnuts , and a couple chocolate frosted with coconut—- I opened that box for the kiddos and was shocked ! Luckily, I also ordered two cinnamon twists and two apple fritters, — so we split those up. There was nothing in the apple fritters and they were shaped like a rectanglular lump of dough. The kolaches were good, but in a Halloween box ( we’re in the month of June ) and my coffee was ordered with 2 sugars / creamer … zero in the bag and zero in...

Disappointed once again by this particular location. My last visit finally has pushed me into writing a review. My wife and I ordered early on a Saturday morning and I specifically asked the server at the drive thru if they had hot glazed donuts. She politely said "yes". I said great and asked for 2 of them. We order a few other items as well. However when our order was handed to us we drove off and my wife discovered that the requested hot glazed donuts were in fact cold as ice!!! This isn't the first time this has happened to me at this location. If you have them and they are asked for please follow through with the request!! Cold glazed donuts are nasty. Shipley's quality is nothing like it used to be and this location is prime example of the subpar quality. At this point I may never visit this particular...
