I do find the employees friendly and courteous. However, there have been 3 recent incidents of which I go inside to order rather than wait in the long drive-through line. It seems to be more urgent to serve the drive through rather than the customers who come inside. This morning after placing an order for a plain grande Americano (the Impossible Breakfast sandwich not available), I had to wait for 10 minutes just to be served the coffee. How long does it take to pour a simple cup of coffee? I am not a coffee drinker so I am always ordering on my wife's behalf. She likes to order the Impossible Breakfast sandwich though she finds it more greasy the the competitor Duncan Donuts' Beyond Sausage sandwich. But the last 3 times I have been to this Starbucks between 9 and 9:30 am, the Impossible Breakfast sandwich has not even been available. I don't know whether they're just not making it or if just running out so early. In the growing plant based trend of plant base eating and the likely choice of trendy Starbucks coffee lovers, I find this puzzling. You would think they would make this more available. Mind you, I am a non-coffee drinker and not even a customer except on my wife's behalf (I pamper her with this stuff as she works so hard at home and at her part time office job). But I just don't get the craze of going to Starbucks to wait in a long line for an overpriced gourmet coffee. It turns out to be a half hour...
Read moreI usually come to this Starbucks when dropping my kid off at his grandparents before I have to be at work. Usually they're punctual, friendly, and wonderful. I stopped by today 2/15/25 at 5:45a and there wasn't a single soul. The doors were all still locked, but the lights were all on. I checked the app as well as Google to see they've been open since 5am and you could order a drink for pickup. I figured I'd drop my kid off first and swing back around after 6am in case they were still working on opening up, since it would have been an hr after they were supposed to be open. Lo and behold, I drop my kid off and swing back around by 6:05am and there still isn't a single soul in sight. There was a car waiting in the parking lot with the lights on (I'm assuming waiting on their pickup order or something) that was still there when I came back around. By this time, the drive through is supposed to be open. I pulled up to the intercom, waiting in silence for a good 5 to 10 minutes before pulling away. I had to be at work and have NEVER, NOT been able to get my coffee before this. I frequent this location often and they're always punctual and friendly, even if it's just one person in there. Management needs to check in on their opener for today because I now have to try and work a full shift (I don't get breaks either)...
Read moreI wanted to write a quick note about the Waterway Starbucks located at 15330 TX-105, Montgomery, TX 77356. I have been visiting that location since I moved to the area in 2013. I spoke with the manager, Doug, this morning, but wanted to go a step further and post a few online reviews and also get a message to his supervisor if possible. This location, out of every other Starbucks I've ever visited (which are countless, and include all the Starbucks across the 11 states I road-tripped through this past summer), stands out above all the rest. I have never found a more friendly group of people, a more clean and inviting store environment, or faster, better service anywhere else. Not even close. They are literally some of my most favorite people on the planet, and the numerous years many of the employees have worked there just about says it all. They are the best of the best and should be training all the rest! Just my thoughts. Thanks for the daily fast, reliable,...
