This place just opened and the bad reviews are pouring in! A friend of mine invited me here for crawfish. So we took the kids and headed up there. I placed the order for my family. One order came out completely wrong. I don’t know how you confuse fried shrimp with fish bites. The fish bites already took an eternity to come out. Then instead of leaving them there for us to eat until our food came out (being that it was their error) instead the waitress takes them and throws the food in the garbage and now we have a young lady at the table waiting for food to come out while everyone else eats. It was at least another 15 to 20mins. Everyone was pretty much done when her food came out. With the order that we were waiting on I requested a little dipping cup of queso for the fries. She brought me out a cup of queso that costs as much as the meal which is not what I requested. And a good waitress would have noted that if this were the case so that I could make the decision to get it or not. Why would someone pay $7.99 for the meal and pay $6 for a cup of cheese for the purpose of dipping a few fries? And the waitress knew that. Not to mention shouldn’t have even been charged for it sis to the inconvenience we suffered at the hands of their employee. And she had an attitude when I brought it to her attention. The bad service here totally outshadowed the food and everything else about this place. I have no intentions on going back! And the part that really ticked me off is………why would you throw away food a customer could have eaten to make up for a mistake you made! Everyone at the table gladly offered to share but she didn’t want the things we had. Which I understand because it wasn’t something she liked. This place may go quicker...
Read moreFirst off, I would like to say say that the wait staff in particular Miss Maria I believe was her name or Marie. I'm not quite sure was went above and beyond. I mean she worked her butt off for me and I'm a difficult person with peculiar taste and when I'm spending my money I'd like to demand for the things that I want. So when I say that she went above and beyond and within this patience and all that with a smile on her face just to let y'all know exactly what I'm talking about. Not to mention the food was amazing. The queso they have there was so thick and delicious. It was ridiculous and I had the fried Gator tacos. Oh my God bro. It was so good! They were so good. Not to mention the atmosphere was great. Of course the Astros game had just come on and you know they kicked it up. Kicked up the volume just enough to hear the the pitching announcements and all that and his place is pretty busy too. So I mean that was a that was an added comfort. Not to mention that it was on several screens so that we could watch the game. No issues. The whole point is that I was well entertained. It was a great atmosphere and some off the best food I've...
Read moreHaving previously dined at Tailgators in Spring, I was genuinely thrilled to learn of a new location opening closer to home. Known for their standout crawfish, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to indulge once more.
As is expected with any new establishment, there can be initial growing pains in staff training, but I was impressed by how smoothly the team operated—even on an especially busy evening. Service was efficient and attentive, maintaining a steady rhythm despite the high volume of guests.
To start, I ordered a selection of beers and appetizers, followed by a 4-pound serving of crawfish. Each dish arrived promptly and was packed with bold, spicy flavor—the kind of heat that enhances rather than overwhelms. The crawfish, in particular, lived up to its reputation: perfectly seasoned, generously portioned, and expertly cooked.
Tailgators continues to deliver the kind of satisfying, spice-forward Gulf Coast fare that keeps you coming back. I’ll certainly...
