Absolute horrible experience. This was my first and last visit. I ordered 2 barbacoa tacos to go, and said barbacoa only. I got home and there were onions and cilantro all throughout the taco. I called the restaurant where they asked if I wanted them to remake them. I said that would be great, but I wouldn't be back over there for an hour or 2, as I was already home when I realized the order was messed up. My boys were ready for lunch so when I was in line waiting for their food to be made elsewhere, I called Taqueria Jalisco to tell them I would be there in a few minutes and they asked if I had the tacos with me. I told them no, that I had tossed them in the trash. The lady said ok. I went to the restaurant and they said that I had to have the tacos with me to get new ones. I explained that the first person I spoke to earlier never said anything about bringing them back. Rather than cause a scene in the restaurant, I left, visibly upset. I called and asked for the owner. He got on the phone and wouldn't even hardly listen to me. He kept saying that without the tacos I would get no credit. My bill was $4.11. He was acting like I was trying to steal from him. All I wanted was 2 barbacoa tacos with just barbacoa that I had originally ordered. It was not my fault that the lady I ordered from didn't put it in correctly for the kitchen to make properly. I told him this was a hell of a way to treat a customer and he did not care one bit. Absolute POS...
Read moreI gave them 1 star because they need help/changes in many areas. 1st, the food portions were small and the quality and flavor was poor. I ordered the Barbacoa plate which was greasy. The meat was a very small portion that was stacked on top of a bed of sautéed mushrooms, onions, and squash. At first sight, it appears to be a decent portion, but the reality was that there was only about 4 fork loads worth. There was a thin layer of rice and beans. The cost of rice and beans is ridiculously cheap so why aren’t they at least generous with that? The reason is because they are not generous with anything. 2nd, The girls smiled, but spoke very little English so they didn’t check back with me = poor service. 3rd, the place was unkept with open supply boxes scattered and what looked like a large tub stacked on cases, which was described in an earlier review as left out sour cream. 4th, They sell soda by the can which is fine at a taco truck. Overall, this place was a huge disappointment, therefore I will never return and regret that I gave them a chance. There’s too much competition near by to be...
Read moreI was craving a breakfast taco and saw this place and figured I'd give it a try. I ordered a chicharron and egg and a chorizo and egg to go. They were very friendly and prompt. Got to the truck and decided I better park and eat. First thing out of the bag was the salsa. I opened it and tasted it and could not wait to get it on a taco. Set that up on the dash and opened my first taco. It was 2 tortillas and had a respectable helping within. I grabbed the salsa container and just bumped the bottom on my steering wheel, sending fairly hot salsa into my lap. My first emotion was sadness that I wasn't going to enjoy this on my taco. Then I realized my lap is burning. Jumped out of the truck and cleaned up the best I could. Then I ate the heck out of some pretty dang good tacos. I'm definitely going back every chance I get. Dine in of course. PS, I smelled like taco/salsa all day. Should have...
