** I Updated to a one star! Do not recommend this place has Unhonest managment and Rips off thier customers!!! I have been shopping here for years. Spending thousands of dollars a year, on crafts, holiday and decor. Today was my last day of being a Hobby Lobby customer. The previous day I was in there buying fabric didn't have a problem. Went back today to buy the SAME fabric!! ( The Fabric is sold by the yard for people that are unfamiliar with buying fabric: example if you get a 1/2 a yard its half the price per yard.). On thier Online site for that store, the same fabric is Also sold by the yard. I got a panel pattern. The panel measures" 2ft= 2/3 of a yard". They attempted to charge me a whole yard a whole extra foot for every 2/3 of a yard of fabric I bought due to the panel being the size of 2ft ( I got 6 panels which is 4 yards) . After a assistant manager came I informed them the online and thier OWN packaging says " Price per yard". I got denied the assistant manager followed me all the way to the register to make sure I checked out. I then asked to speak to the Store manager and had to argue with her aswell. As to why they are charging me the price of a whole yard instead of 2/3 of a yard which means I got 4 yards and they were trying to charge me 6 yards . ( mean while they had no problem cutting the person's fabric behind me at 1/3 and 2/3 of a yard at the correct price per thier custom cutted size). I got told I cant be cheating other customers out of a full panel. I informed them I wasn't cheating no one of a full panel because I only bought 6 panels whole. At 2/3 of a yard per panel, which is the size of each panel. I Stated that they were over charging me by selling me 2/3 of a yard of fabric for the price of a whole yard! The store manager just kept rolling her eyes and would only give me $5 off while in total it was a $12 difference for the correct price. As we were checking out. The store manager walked up to the other employees and was Apologizing to them. For me Inconveniencing their day. An she started muddering something under her breath. As I was finishing my transaction the cashier was nice enough to flick my receipt at me instead of handing it to me. Which it luckly went on the counter instead of the floor. Which I'd have a hard time picking up due to a back problem.
So unless you as a customer love being Ripped Off, Humiliated and Discriminated against by this stores Employees and company. Infront of other customers and the other employees I Highly recommend to shop elsewhere!!!. As to the managers its not hard to learn simple math as in Fractions and ...
Read moreCustomer Service is excellent. The store was busy with customers on every aisle, so I was sure we would have difficulty getting assistance. After searching for specific paint supplies, we saw a store employee, Martha, walk past us helping another customer. We followed closely behind them and then waited for her to finish helping that customer. After a few minutes, she finished and helped us. She was knowledgeable and friendly.
After we selected paint supplies, we were looking for Martha to assist us again. Instead, we found Grace, who answered our questions and showed us where to find other craft supplies. She was just as helpful as Martha. Later, I was searching for a certain type of box and came upon another employee, Patrick. He didn't have answers to my questions about finding the boxes, but he politely explained it wasn't his area of knowledge and told me he would find someone to assist me. Within just a couple of minutes, he found Shelby who advised me the boxes I wanted were seasonal and currently not in stock.
After we finished shopping, I told the Front Checkout Manager, Danielle, I'd like to talk to the Store Manager. She offered to help me, but I told her I wanted to speak to the person who supervises the employees in customer service in the various departments. About 8 to 10 minutes later, Brooke introduced herself. I gave Brooke the names of everyone who had helped me in hopes they would have recognition for a job well done.
Many years ago, this type of customer service was common and expected. Nowadays, not so much. This visit to Hobby Lobby was about 6 weeks ago and I was so impressed, I still remember it today. Martha, Grace, Patrick, Shelby, Brooke and Danielle are outstanding employees as they displayed a desire to help customers. They were all professional, friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, effective in communicating, patient and friendly.
You must have excellent recruiters and top notch training for your employees to have acquired so many great people in your customer service positions.
In addition, there are other Hobby Lobby stores near me, but I drive out of my way to shop at your location, because your store is well-maintained, well-stocked, clean and organized. Please pass on this information to everyone, including those employees...
Read moreIt's a Hobby Lobby, you know what this is. It's got everything you need for your at home arts n craft projects and then some. Need double sided tape? They got it, Need stencil designs? They got it, Need paints for artwork? You better believe, they got it. Great selection here.
Now that all being said, be prepared for an outdated store design and employees in short supply. It's a rather large store and the employees are few and far between. This becomes a problem once you realize that NONE of the aisles properly tell you what's in them in a convenient manner. I went in looking for double sided tape, I knew they had it from their online catalog, but for the life of me, once I was in the store, I couldn't figure out WHERE. This is where the (in short supply) employees come into play.
I would suggest the first thing you do upon entering the store, especially if it's your first time, is to ask a clerk where your item is, unless you want to get lost in this place looking for your product, it's like that warehouse from the end of the Indiana Jones movie, good luck finding what your looking for.
That being said, they probably do have what your looking for, as long as it pertains to arts n crafts. And at a reasonable price too.
4/5, interesting...
