On June 19, 2025, around 4:50 PM, I went to Fresh Kabob/Kabob Oasis. I placed a to-go order and paid at the register. After the cashier, Rameen, handed me the receipt, he immediately said, "Your payment didnât go throughâinsert your card again." Confused, I replied that the transaction was completedâI saw it on the credit card machine, and it even printed a receipt. Yet he kept insisting, "No, no, you didnât pay." I repeatedly told him I didnât want to pay again for the same order. I even opened my online banking to show him the pending charge, but he still tried to take money from my card again. I showed him my receipt and said, "Youâre clearly trying to scam meâcancel my order and issue a refund." Without even blushing, he kept lying, insisting I hadnât paid. I asked, "Then whatâs this receipt? My bank shows the transaction!" I demanded to speak to the manager, but he claimed no one else was available. After insisting, another employee came over, but they didnât seem to care despite my explanation. This cashier is a complete fraud and liar. I told him directly that what he was doing was wrong. Of course, my bank processed the payment, and since I never received any service, I filed a dispute. If you visit this restaurant and pay by card, be very careful. This cashier will scam you. This business is trying to profit unjustly by charging for services they never provided. I do NOT recommend...
Read moreFirst of all, if there was a possible option to give 0 stars, I would. We pre-ordered a huge catering meal for an important State Board Meeting. The order was placed days in advance and re-confirmed a day prior. When the catering arrived the delivery was incomplete: Missing utensils and plates, no chaffing dishes, or serving utensils, and a missing salad which was advertised to be included on their catering menu package. When brought to his attention, he merely shrugged and stated that the salad was "nothing". Instead of going back to the restaurant, he went to the nearest Albertson's and bought pre-packaged Dole salad. He came back without prepping the salad and leaving it in its package expecting US to prepare the salad that WE paid for. Also, the pita bread was not in a catering dish, it was delivered in a grocery bag. Additionally, it was advertised on their catering menu that their portions would feed 25 people; however, with our total guest count was 17 people, there was barely enough meat. Before the deliverer left, he sensed I was upset at the service and argued that their catering is the lowest price in town; AND I KNOW EXACTLY WHY. We will NOT be conducting business with this caterer and we will NOT recommend to our fellow businesses in our building. The most unprofessional catering that we have ever received...
Read moreMore color than flavor. I had the steak kabob plate with hummus, saffron rice and salad. The salad and dressing were good. The hummus, with the chili sauce on top was excellent!
The rice was pretty, but I don't think they're using real saffron or exclusively herbs to get that color. Management feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. There wasn't any specific flavor to the rice. I don't willingly consume artifical coloring.
The meat was tender, but again the bright red color makes me think there's coloring added. The meat had the right amount of salt, but salt was the only thing I tasted. It didn't taste chargrilled. At some points it just tasted like meat, if you know what I mean, but it was decent when I dipped it in the hummus.
There were no onions or peppers or any other vegetables with the skewer, which was disappointing. I don't know if they usually include them, but didn't because I said no tomatoes, but they were in the pictures, but not on the plate.
I'm pickier (more demanding) than most, so I would suggest to try it, but personally I prefer Kabob Express (I think that's what it's called - on Trop/Eastern) and Crazy Pita much more, because their meat is more flavorful. By a lot.
Because of the food coloring, I don't plan to be back. I do wish them luck in their...
