On June 19, 2025, around 4:50 PM, I went to Fresh Kabob/Kabob Oasis. I placed a to-go order and paid at the register. After the cashier, Rameen, handed me the receipt, he immediately said, "Your payment didn’t go through—insert your card again." Confused, I replied that the transaction was completed—I saw it on the credit card machine, and it even printed a receipt. Yet he kept insisting, "No, no, you didn’t pay." I repeatedly told him I didn’t want to pay again for the same order. I even opened my online banking to show him the pending charge, but he still tried to take money from my card again. I showed him my receipt and said, "You’re clearly trying to scam me—cancel my order and issue a refund." Without even blushing, he kept lying, insisting I hadn’t paid. I asked, "Then what’s this receipt? My bank shows the transaction!" I demanded to speak to the manager, but he claimed no one else was available. After insisting, another employee came over, but they didn’t seem to care despite my explanation. This cashier is a complete fraud and liar. I told him directly that what he was doing was wrong. Of course, my bank processed the payment, and since I never received any service, I filed a dispute. If you visit this restaurant and pay by card, be very careful. This cashier will scam you. This business is trying to profit unjustly by charging for services they never provided. I do NOT recommend...

First of all, if there was a possible option to give 0 stars, I would. We pre-ordered a huge catering meal for an important State Board Meeting. The order was placed days in advance and re-confirmed a day prior. When the catering arrived the delivery was incomplete: Missing utensils and plates, no chaffing dishes, or serving utensils, and a missing salad which was advertised to be included on their catering menu package. When brought to his attention, he merely shrugged and stated that the salad was "nothing". Instead of going back to the restaurant, he went to the nearest Albertson's and bought pre-packaged Dole salad. He came back without prepping the salad and leaving it in its package expecting US to prepare the salad that WE paid for. Also, the pita bread was not in a catering dish, it was delivered in a grocery bag. Additionally, it was advertised on their catering menu that their portions would feed 25 people; however, with our total guest count was 17 people, there was barely enough meat. Before the deliverer left, he sensed I was upset at the service and argued that their catering is the lowest price in town; AND I KNOW EXACTLY WHY. We will NOT be conducting business with this caterer and we will NOT recommend to our fellow businesses in our building. The most unprofessional catering that we have ever received...

More color than flavor. I had the steak kabob plate with hummus, saffron rice and salad. The salad and dressing were good. The hummus, with the chili sauce on top was excellent!

The rice was pretty, but I don't think they're using real saffron or exclusively herbs to get that color. Management feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. There wasn't any specific flavor to the rice. I don't willingly consume artifical coloring.

The meat was tender, but again the bright red color makes me think there's coloring added. The meat had the right amount of salt, but salt was the only thing I tasted. It didn't taste chargrilled. At some points it just tasted like meat, if you know what I mean, but it was decent when I dipped it in the hummus.

There were no onions or peppers or any other vegetables with the skewer, which was disappointing. I don't know if they usually include them, but didn't because I said no tomatoes, but they were in the pictures, but not on the plate.

I'm pickier (more demanding) than most, so I would suggest to try it, but personally I prefer Kabob Express (I think that's what it's called - on Trop/Eastern) and Crazy Pita much more, because their meat is more flavorful. By a lot.

Because of the food coloring, I don't plan to be back. I do wish them luck in their...

Honest Review: I went here for lunch on Tuesday afternoon, I was in a Kabob or Gyro mood, so I decided to give them a try. I was greeting rather promptly and ordered the Lamb meat Kabob plate. After waiting for about 10-15 minutes, I got up to grab some napkins and was then told by the cashier that my food had been ready and was at the counter for me?? I hadn't even heard anyone call out my order, but ok, I let it go and grabbed my food. The presentation of the plate was not the most impressive, but the portion was a decent size. The rice was rather bland, as well as the salad. The real winner here was the meat. It was tasty. It was very well seasoned. I would honestly have it again. Unfortunately, the dining experience overall just didn't add up. It had an atmosphere of get in-get out quick, right next to the airport vibe. Lots of people in there looked tired and had their luggage on them. What I really disliked was the mess the establishment had at the front door trash bin. There was a trash bin where you throw away the trash, then stack your trey and utensils on top... mind you, it was filled up with dirty plates, leftovers and utensils and was just disgusting. Right next to the front door too? Come on, guys. Did you open up a High School Cafeteria or a Restaurant?

Used to be our top spot for Mediterranean. Loved the Shawarma, the Gyros and the Kubideh. Still dig the fresh bread and the sauces, however portions have been decreased substantially. I couldn't believe it when I opened my Shawarma to find a teeny amount of meat inside. Not only was it a teeny amount, it was cold and tough (even though the order was just marked ready for pickup). Mind you, previously I was able to share one of these with my GF and still have leftovers. The hummus was disappointing as well. It used to be quite flavorful and yummy with a very good creamy texture. This time around it was gritty, lumpy and borderline bland. The Samosas were just terrible. Teeny, hard little dough nuggets with no recognizable potato filling, said it was 6 to an order however received 5. Service wasn't as friendly as usual either. Overall this past run was a terrible experience, basically a $40 order with barely enough protein for one normal eating adult combined with quality issues. Sucks. Unfortunately, will have to give them a break for a while.
