Hibachi Stop — Restaurant in East Point

Just to keep it honest, there’s a sign hanging up for customers to receive a free drink for providing a google review for this restaurant so be aware when it comes to such high ratings for this establishment.

Mmm the food is ok. It’s honestly not all that. The veggies are not mushy, the meat could’ve been cooked a little more. I had the chicken, steak, and shrimp. The food is high in price . $12 for a 4 piece tender combo 😥 $ 18 for my combo. Customer service could use some work, but it was a Friday pretty late night so I’ll give her that. The cashier’s stern demeanor, mixed with the prices, almost had me walk though.

The one thing that makes this place a little scary is that it literally has slot machines lining the walls, no tables. Me and my boys would’ve liked to sit down and eat, instead I had to keep them from messing with adult stuff. Literally the inside looks like the slot machine section of a gas station.

I just left here. Ordered the chicken hibachi and asked for my chicken and veggies to the side (as always. I’ve been here about 7 times). I ask for it this way because my 2 year old eats with me and she doesn’t like sauce, which they put a LOT on the food (I don’t mind it as much, but she won’t eat the rice if it’s too saucy) and I have to chop her veggies and chicken up a bit more than what they already are. For whatever reason, this time I was told that they wouldn’t be able to put the chicken and veggies to the side anymore. Idk if it’s because they went though the hassle of using foil this time, but I didn’t ask for that. I simply said to the side. Maybe they don’t want it to show just how disproportionate the amount of chicken and veggies is to the large amount of rice they give for 11 dollars. & the veggies are basically scraps. Ordered wings, told it would take 10 minutes… after 25 minutes, they gave me someone else’s order. The middle aged Asian woman opened it with no gloves after cleaning and handling money at the cash register, stated this is your order.. when I gave her my receipt and told her I just ordered wings, she said, your order is still cooking and it will be ready in a minute.. she went into the kitchen speaking non English to the cooks and my order was ready within 2 minutes. Sadly to say, the wings were cold and looked refurbished and she tried to pass them off as fresh wings.. had another customer to verify… she preceded to say no refund and oh my god.. i made a video of the entire ordeal and will post… they also have an under age employee working there as well… do not support, not in our community!!!
