Impulse Lounge and Karaoke — Restaurant in Tucker

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Impulse Lounge, and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The poor customer service and the blatant disregard for honesty and integrity left a sour taste in my mouth.

First and foremost, let's talk about the outrageous charges. I ordered a measly $5 worth of wings and a $5 drink, which should have been a simple and straightforward transaction. However, to my utter disbelief, I was charged for extra people who were not even present! When I politely brought this to the attention of the waitress, she flat out refused to correct the mistake, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and empathy. She charge me $54 like how!!!!

To add insult to injury, we were made to wait for an excruciatingly long two hours for a room that we had reserved when first arriving. Can you imagine the frustration of waiting for that long, only to be told that the room had been given away? It was not only an inconvenience but a clear display of incompetence on the part of the staff. It's unbelievable that they had the audacity to keep us waiting for so long, only to snatch away the room we had been promised.

Moreover, the attitude and rudeness displayed by the entire staff were appalling. From the moment we entered the lounge, we were met with dismissive glances and condescending remarks. It felt like we were bothering them by being there. The staff consistently lied to us throughout our visit, providing false information and giving empty promises that were never fulfilled. Their lack of honesty and integrity only further added to the disappointment and frustration we experienced.And our waiter kept ignoring us and avoiding us when asked about our rooms. She would run by really quick if take a different route. I checked on the room multiple times.

In conclusion, Impulse Lounge is a place to be avoided at all costs. The poor customer service, dishonest practices, rude staff, and consistent lies create an atmosphere of sheer disappointment. Save yourself the trouble and find an establishment that values its customers and provides a pleasant experience. Impulse Lounge has proven itself to be nothing short of a nightmare. Needs New Management! It was utterly disappointing.

I wish they would give an option to give no stars. I will never go here again and I recommend anybody black not to get a Karaoke room. I came to this place to celebrate a co-workers Birthday. When we arrived I thought it was strange for the waitress to come in and ask for every bodies form of payment and then proceed to take our debit cards and cash before even ordering.

So the Asian or Hispanic waitress we had was terrible. We would ask for water and other drinks and she never brought it to us.(she would forget) We had to literally get up and walk outside the room to get our drinks from the bar. When I walked out of the room her and another waitress were taking selfies, and completely forgot about us. Not to mention it took us 30 minutes to get wings.

Fast-forward....So as it was time to leave, the waitress brought all of our forms of payment back in the room with the checks. My form of payment was cash. As she passed out debit cards and change I could not help but wonder where my change was. She then came over to ask how I was paying...I told her that I gave her a $20 dollar bill when she took my license and everyone else's form of payment. She then proceeded to tell me "No you did not"..I responded with "yes I did" after that she said "I have a good memory and I am not going to argue with you because you did not give me any money" I told her again "yes I did" she said "well I will go and get my manger" me: "yea do that"

She went and got her manager this really huge guy and he asked "why would I prepay and I haven't ordered yet"? My response was "well isn't this your protocol because you all clearly came to get our debit cards and cash before we placed out orders?" Long story short, after more words were exchanged between he and I; he told me that he would check her "paperwork". After about 3 minutes he then comes back in PLEASE READ THIS with change and then he told me that they could not find the 20 dollar bill but still gave me change? UMMMMMM now do I look that stupid? Why would you give me change but yet you could not find the 20 dollar bill I gave you?

White people and other foreigners have a problem admitting when they are wrong especially to someone black. PLEASE do not go here and give these...

I always try to be patient and understanding as a fellow service industry worker, especially in restaurant matters. However, my visit here was frankly, some hot mid.

I'd like to think a single couple with one drink each would be a simple order, but our server not only messed that up, but tried to charge us for the incorrect drink we didn't order (and then no one new how to remove the incorrect drink, including the manager). Also it took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive, which is incredible since the place was void of people save for us and a party on the patio. Honestly would have considered ordering wings if the service for drinks wasn't so slow. Also, after we got our corrected drink (only 5 minutes), our server disappeared and didn't show up again until we asked the hookah guy to find her. We were ready to leave at 10, didn't leave until after 10:30 because of all of this. Shout out to the hookah guy for at least trying but from one service industry person to another, this place needs better staff and management. No reason that a guest who received bad service has to wait for three different people to get a refund while also being cast to the side to take other guests.

We also never got the drink taken off despite the length of time and 3 brain cells it took to figure that out so like, I'm honestly impressed that you could screw up so badly on a slow night.

Dj was good, the place looks nice, and the drinks were average, nothing to write home about. That's the only reason this gets 2 stars. I'd try it again another time if I was guaranteed better service, honestly. Teach your servers how to check on tables in a timely manner, and maybe we won't have these kinds of problems.

Also petty minor complaint: the super saiyan blue drink wasn't delivered to us lit on fire and didn't deliver anything reminiscent of...
