This is apparently a new restaurant here in Pharr right across the new bank and corner gas station. 100% a gem!
The food here is amazing! The flavors are great, the right amount of seasoning to the food. The breads are fresh, you can see the oven They are baked in right across from the display case. The scent from the fresh bread is wonderful. Many different options and baked in small batches to assure freshness. Take a bite into them and you are greeted with a crispy shell followed by a warm moist interior, and flavors that do not overwhelm. Almost perfectly balanced.
We all ordered a little something different so we can taste as many plates as possible, and the waiters recommendations were on point. You can really taste the pride the cooks have when making the food. Got the Taro pancakes and was expecting the Taro sauce to overwhelm the plate but it did not. It went perfect with the pancakes and fruit, highly recommend it as well as the strawberry cream pancakes.
The pricing was actually on point for the food and it's serving sizes. I was almost defeated by the pancakes with how large and filling they were. Everyone finished their plates with a bit of a struggle but nonetheless fairly clean plates.
The atmosphere was beautiful! It gave off the feeling of being in a little bakery run by a kind little grandma. The waiters were very nice and helpful.
Summery: Amazing fresh and good food

Good pricing
Great employees
This is a gem! Highly recommend! We need more places like this here...
Read moreWhen we walked in, no one even looked in our direction. Party of 6, we waited for about 10 minutes before I had to walk to someone who looked like a manager. I asked him if we were supposed to check in, or seat ourselves. He said there was one party ahead of us and that we would have to wait 30 minutes. By the time we sat down, the table was still dirty, and had to be cleaned while we were already seated. Food took 45 minutes to arrive. It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t the best either. I find it amazing that a restaurant like this doesn’t know how to cut fajitas. Fajitas were cut into strips , in the same direction as the grain. As a result they were extremely chewy and hard to eat. I thought it was common knowledge that fajitas are supposed to be cut against the grain so that it’s easier to chew. Additionally, the lemonade had a very weird after taste that reminded me of acid reflux. The concept is cute, but my experience was poor. I didn’t get the level of service that is expected from a business like this. It’s the type of feeling you get where you are 100% sure that no one in the building is an owner or partner in the company. I kept on wondering who is...

I went to pick up an order, and the cashier forgot to return my credit card. She struggled to give me my receipt after charging me and spent about 10 minutes calling someone for help. She eventually handed me my receipt and food, but when I drove off to work, I realized she didn’t give my credit card back.
I immediately called the restaurant, and the assistant manager confirmed they had my card. I told them to hold it, and I would come back to pick it up. When I arrived, the manager looked confused and said he didn’t have it. He even questioned whether I was a customer since he wasn’t present when I picked up my order. It wasn’t until the cook vouched for me, confirming I was there earlier, that the manager started making calls to find out who had my credit card.
The employee eventually admitted she had taken my credit card home, so I had to wait over an hour to get it back. Be warned: if an employee doesn’t return your credit card, they may just take it home with them. This level of unprofessionalism is...
