I usually visit the North Mcallen location for my protein shakes - but because I was on my way to work and wanted a quick protein shake, I thought "why not stop here" since I already love Fork to Fit. Walking through the door - I was not greeted and the male at the register looked very much bothered by my visitation. Not only was he rude - but looked at me up and down with a VERY rude glare. But it doesn't stop here - while making my shake it seemed to me they may have been talking about me or something because him and another female worker continued to look my way. Very uncomfortable environment. After using the restroom before leaving the store, when grabbing my drink the same female that was talking to the other male was there and didn't even bother saying "you're welcome" or goodbye after I said thank you. This location seems to be bothered by customers - so it is safe to say I will not be visiting this location again. The food is great. Service ??...
Read moreStaff at this location are phenomenal: personable, professional and knowledgeable. "Alex" is the manager and a kinder more engaging person couldn't be had in this role. Kudos to whomever has done the employee recruiting at this location. The smoothies are excellent, if pricey. As for the prepared foods,...it's a hit or miss. The spaghetti with ground beef is always good. The macaroni with ground beef and cheese is only mildly flavored, but still pretty good. I tried a lean beef with broccoli and mashed potatoes for the first time, yesterday (posted a photo, too) and found the beef chewy (too chewy) the broccoli tasteless and the potatoes fair. I've have some of the chicken dishes that I liked very much...and a sliced beef dish that was excellent. Thus, "hit or miss." Nonetheless, I keep going...

My go to plate is the cilantro lime chicken but recently I’ve noticed they’ve been way too greasy. In the beginning I thought it’d get better on its own but they’re constantly greasy now and it’s kinda what we’re all trying to avoid here — the grease, the fat, etc. I go almost everyday from Monday to Friday even sometimes on the weekend. I don’t even care too much about the lack of flavor. I have a bottle of lemon pepper seasoning in my office that I use when it needs it… the grease though. The rice is usually drenched in grease in the cilantro lime chicken and it’s my...
