Kauri is on fire!!! Even before getting in, you can smell the broccoli, chicken, and the noodles, just what you need to build up the appetite before you get in. Once you’re in there, greeted by the staff, the receptionist takes care of you right away, then taken to a table where they ask you what your beverage of choice is and then, you’re off to get your plate and on the Buffay line. My taste buds were in heaven waiting to pick up my first piece of sushi. From the pics and videos I posted, you can call it sushi heaven. A little bit of everything for different pallets. I have to admit, I serve myself a couple of pieces of sushi from all the selections. I had to get a second plate because just beyond where all the sushi was, that’s where you had your eggrolls, your fried chicken, your soups, your noodles, your fried rice, your teriyaki chicken, beef and broccoli, and your salads. The teriyaki chicken was super savory, soft to the tongue, and went down the throat like butter. The egg rolls and fried chicken were crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. The beef and broccoli was super fulfilling, not too saucy and the broccoli, steamed to perfection. You definitely got to go and check this place out, don’t rush your time there, eat as much of whatever you want for as long as you want, and make it a great experience as I did. Read moreSo this is our first time here some friends know that I love Chinese food Japanese food Asian food. It's clean. Good decor. The service is good I suppose. The issue is they're not going to speak English to you and you know they understand you because they answer you for me that's just an Ender. Everybody in the valley speaks a little Spanglish. Now about the food. There's nothing really special to say. The food area is very clean. A push a bunch of like Japanese rolls you bet they're not very good they're mostly cream cheese all of them and bland. 15 items normal Chinese beef broccoli that kind of thing nothing special though. Overall I would like to like this place like I said it has a good decor the music's okay good lighting clean but for service and that they don't want to even try to answer me in English and they just gave me that dumb look. I'm going back to the food I think for the same money you can do better at so many other Chinese buffets. They're pushing for a particular client this is a very much a Mexican style Chinese buffet for those of you...
Read moreRegret not taking pictures but I was more focused on filling my belly 😉. We found Kurai by chance, wasn’t looking to eating Chinese but as we pulled over to google where to eat I spotted this place and went inside to check out their buffet. Needless to say we stayed and ate well. They have a variety of options but everything I ate was perfect, only wish the food was a tad warmer. I had 2 plates of the Kiso soup, shrimps, gyoza, vegetable tempura, shrimp fried noodles, orange chicken, spring rolls, some sort of crab pasta salad, left sushi for last because honestly I haven’t found a proper sushi place yet so only had 3 pieces. They have a big selection but didn’t try it all. For desert I had fried donuts, fried banana with coconut and a bit of banana cream pudding but they also had rice pudding, some fruit and jello. I loved the decor and the service as everyone was super friendly. Prices just as advertised $14.99 for adults and $6.99 for under 8yo plus an additional $2.50 per person for drinks (if you pay by credit card they charge you a 2.5%...
