Pizzamania — Restaurant in Santa Fe Springs

Easily, by far, the best pizza in the area. This is obvious by the fact that on Sunday afternoon 4/27 a dozen employees were working, and pizzas were going out the door 2 at a time every 5 min! I couldn’t believe how this this pizza place was booming while others near by are doing gofundme pages!

Why is this?

Flat out, this pizza is good! I love pizza and have had hundreds and a few from every state. I would put this pizza in the top 5-10 range that I’ve ever had. Cheese isn’t crumbly like Pizza Hut, or super stretchy. It’s right in the middle. Crust is soft like bakery bread. But not real thick or super thin. They have it just right.

It’s big for your money. A Medium is the same size as the competitors large. Maybe not exactly In inches but it’s much heavier.

Huge on toppings! I got a special pizza and I could throw out half the toppings and still have more than the competitors. Really! But I didn’t. I piled them up and ate them!

The bad. I have only one issue. Sometimes the end crust can be a little wide. A consistent 1 inch around is fine, but when a few pieces have a 2-3 inch wide crust, it turns it into a half piece. I just put butter on it and eat it, but I would rather have it more consistent 1 inch around.

But I get it. And I still give 5 stars because the pizza, toppings, are still huge and the taste...

A plus, FIVE Star, etc

Hadn't been here before but grabbed some lunch on the advice of a good friend.

Aren't I glad I took his advice.

Service, EXCELLENT.

Food, absolutely delicious.

Greeted upon entering and ordering was super easy. Order taker was pleasant and welcoming.

Pizza took a few minutes as expected, but still quick. Orders the thick crust since I wasn't sure how thin an actual thin crust was. But into it and I was in heaven. Sauce was terrific, crust was both crisp and soft inside and the toppings were fresh! To me, it's the sauce and bread that ties everything together and it was a perfect combination. I took a couple of pics of what was left of the pizza. As you can see, theres not much left. It was delicious!!!!!!

I got there around upon opening and believe me, this place loaded up quickly with customers.

I could hear the employees interacting with the customers and it was refreshing to hear the exchanges. Whoever manages this place is doing a super-duper job hiring because it's these type of employees who will keep people coming back.

I hate to "give up" this place to everybody else, but wherever you are, trust me on this, it's vorth your drive and based on what I experienced, you won't be disappointed.

Definitely one of the better pizza joints I've visited in...

My family and I ordered two (2) large pizzas from Pizza Mania and when we got home, the bottom crust on one of the large pizzas was completely burnt. Thinking it would not have an effect on how the pizza tasted...boy was I wrong! The burnt pizza tastes HORRIBLE!!!!!! By it being so late in the evening, and us living nowhere near this location, i figured it wasn’t worth driving back to make a big fuss and I would contact them the following day.

We contacted Pizza Mania the following day to let them know about our burnt pizza crust and the “Manager on duty” told us there’s nothing he could do about the burnt pizza because we called the day after to report. We then explained to him that we ordered almost before closing time and lived no where near them, which is why we opted to call the following day to report it. Needless to say, he advised he was not giving us our money back and not giving us another pizza (in which we did not ask for), but would comp us $5 off of our next order! What a slap in the face when you try to support local business during troubling times.

I guess it’s safe to say that we will not be back for the burnt pizza and even more so their horrible...
