Poke Rainbow — Restaurant in Santa Fe Springs

For a while this was the best poke spot I'd ever been to. I'd noticed that the quality was beginning to slip a while ago before I moved away, and the prices have steadily gone up. Now that I'm back I've been twice, and probably won't come back again.

The food is still good, but something about the proteins seems a bit lower quality. And the last time I came in, I ordered a medium and got charged for a large by the dude working. I think that was the push I needed just to never come back here again. Maybe they had changed the prices and just hadn't updated their menu? I doubt it, though. This used to be my favorite poke spot, well not anymore. Today was the third strike. I didn't say anything the last 2 visits, but I am today. Got a medium with mushy white rice. Stingy with all of the portions (not just the protien, but the veggies too), my medium could have actually been considered a small. Then as I am trying to pay, the system goes down so I could not use my card. Luckily I had cash on me. But I am rethinking if I was lucky to have cash ir not. The first thing I want to say is that my server, Christian, was AMAZING! He went above and beyond on serving my food. He kept on asking if the portions were enough, which is something I dont get asked enough from places as such. He was super polite, gave the best answers to my questions, and always mentioned options when most others would have just given what I asked for. The food was spot on the best Poke I've ever had!
