I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time but since this isn't necessarily a hop-skip-jump away from my residence, it's been taking a while to try it; however, the day finally arrived and I tried this restaurant on 6 Apr 2025. It's actually been ~9 months since I last had pizza because my system doesn't necessarily agree with it all the time - plus, I "try" to eat somewhat healthier these days. So opposite to the late R. Kelly song, my mind was telling me yes, but my body, my body was telling me no.
My wife and I ordered The Naughty Pie, Hot Girl Pie, and Sunset Square pizzas. I was disappointed that the only pies that contained meat were the square ones and not the traditional slice (minus the pepperoni pizza - was hoping for additional toppings). I'm not into those thicker crust pizzas, but regardless, I was starving and wanted to sample them. The pizza sauces were good; however, I wasn't a fan of how "burnt" the bottom and edges of the pizzas were. I think the employee left the pizzas in the oven a little too long. On the other hand, if this is the traditional way for the pizzas at this business, then I can honestly say it isn't for me. Additionally, I don't mind some grease on my pizzas (after all, it isn't the healthiest of food), but these were extremely greasy. The pepperoni had great flavor but I enjoy the larger cuts more (not trying to be super picky - I just know what I like better).
The service was adequate (not outstanding) - the employee (cashier) could've been a bit more friendlier; however, she took our order and served us our food - so at the end of the day, I guess I should be satisfied. The prices were reasonable considering this restaurant is located inside a resort-style property. I am, however, appreciative of this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! I can't say too much about the restaurant's atmosphere since it is located inside The Durango Food Court (Eat Your Heart Out), but I will admit that the ambiance outside was spectacular (yes, there is additional seating outside of the building).
Overall, I wasn't a fan of this place - I didn't leave here satisfied with the quality of their pizzas. I am not a picky eater; nor do I enjoy wasting food (just how I was raised), but I couldn't finish my pies...truly uncommon for me. I know I am biased to a certain type of pizza which is why I might consider trying it again months down the road...to try their traditional pizza slices; however, I will never order the square pizzas again. If the outcome of that visit is different, I'll update this review/rating, as appropriate. Of noteworthy mention, my wife did think the pizzas were ok, so there's a slight uptick in rating...but she can post her own dang review of this place if she wants. I am a big believer in trying things for yourself; therefore, I am still recommending this place to others based on that concept, and that concept only. The restaurant seems to stay busy every time I pass it, so...

This premium pizzeria has an illustrious presence in multiple cities, including New York, Miami, California, and Toronto, and has firmly established itself as a purveyor of excellence in Sicilian "SoHo" Squares.
My visit to Prince Street Pizza was nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. I opted for a slice of the SPICY SPRING™️ pizza, adorned with Fra Diavolo Sauce, Pepperoni, Fresh Mozzarella, and Pecorino Romano. The first bite was an explosion of bold and harmonious flavors, and the exquisite balance of spice, cheese, and richness of the sauce created a symphony for my taste buds. Every subsequent bite was a revelation, with no compromise on texture – a perfect marriage of crispness and succulence.
The slice featuring their spicy vodka sauce, enriched with Prosciutto, Fresh Mozzarella, and Pecorino Romano, was equally captivating. The artistry in crafting this pizza slice was evident, as the spicy vodka sauce added a luxurious depth while maintaining a delightful kick. Notably, both slices exhibited a remarkable absence of floppiness and excessive grease, elevating the dining experience to unparalleled heights.
For newcomers, visiting Prince Street Pizza is more than just pizza; it is an experience that will undoubtedly blow you away. The pizzeria's commitment to premium ingredients, expert craftsmanship, and a flawless marriage of flavors make it an absolute must-try. Read moreNow with eleven locations and a twelfth coming soon Prince Street Pizza debuted in 2012, the New York outpost still standing where the Morano family first started slinging slices including their now-famous Spicy Spring.
Known for Neapolitan wedges and Sicilian “SoHo” Squares, the latter praised by many as amongst the best in Manhattan, it was late 2023 that Spring Street opened as part of Durango Casino’s “Eat Your Heart Out” food court with lines present ever since.
Available whole or by the Slice, prices ranging $4.95 to $6.50 each well above the average for a location so far from the Strip, it was after a brief wait that four squares were loaded into a branded box and eaten warm so that quality wouldn’t be compromised beyond time on the rack.
Reportedly using “a water filtration process that replicates the water used in New York” to improve consistency, a dubious claim to anyone who understands science and the difference in humidity between Sin City and the East Coast, Spring Street’s Crust suffers from a lack of leavening and underdeveloped flavors covered up by housemade Sauce.
Starting with Spicy Spring, a dish that earns its name with fiery Fra Diavolo Sauce and thick-cut Pepperoni, the Morano’s Marinara unfortunately trends a bit too sweet in the case of Meat Lovers while both the Four Cheese and Spicy Vodka compare favorably to other mid-level Pizzerias that get a lot...
