My family and I went last night we had a party of 6. We got there right before they opened and the line was not long at all, although like any place you are required to wait in line for any type of attraction. You do have to sign a waiver prior to entering the park, fee itās $50 per person. Bring cash or they have an ATM you will have to use. The fee includes three haunted houses. Itās unlimited, meaning you can go as many times as you want, you do have to wait in line for each one. The lines were not bad at all we went in each one twice got there at 730 left at 10:30 and sat down and ate.
For all parents dropping their kids off there is one haunted house thatās rated R due to the language and the exposed costumes, meaning they will have to be 18 or older to enter by themselves or have a parent be present with them. This specific haunted house does require another waiver to be signed because they are able to touch as you walk through. Iāve never been in a haunted house like this one lol, it was so scary. The whole time it was one thing after another, feeling of being shocked and a whole bunch of other surprises that was definitely not expected at all!!!! We had such a great time!!!! We are still laughing about being scared š„“š³šš¤£š
They also have a food truck. The chili cheese dog was by far the best hot dog Iāve ever had!!! The bread they used was like the toast you get from Raising Caneās . Yummmm!! šššš¤¤ ā¦.
As you leave, your able to see the group photo that they take at the beginning. They have multiple options you can choose from we definitely got a laugh from them!!
Turned out to be such a fun night!! We never saw the kids so excited, we laughed so much over their excitement. Was a great family experience!!! Check them out!! Located right in ikea parking lot they have it all! And across the street they have the pumpkin patch. Itās a win...
Ā Ā Ā Read more$50 for a ticket seemed reasonable if I was able to go through all 3 attractions, however I was only able to go through one. I arrived at 8:20 and finished going through my first one at 12:00. Almost 4 hours of standing in a parking lot for a mediocre at best experience. If they actually built up the atmosphere while I was waiting maybe it wouldn't have been so bad, but there was no creepy music, the "actors" just walked in circles the entire time. I saw them scare people maybe 3 times in 4 hours. If you really plan on attending getting the fast pass is a must, however at $75 a ticket that's completely unreasonable. Now for a review of the Castle Vampire: if walking blindly through dimly lit hallways or even completely blacked out hallways with jump scares if fun for you then it's okay. But personally I expect better props and actors to do more then just jump out at me. They didn't even try to act like they wanted my blood. They could have called this Castle Psycho, and it would have fit just fine. Vampire theme seems more like a half-baked afterthought then anything. Fortunately I have nothing to say about the other two haunted houses. Else I would have wasted even more of my night. But who knows, maybe the other two are good and I picked the garbage one to wait in line 4 hours for.
TLDR: Go somewhere else and get a much better experience for a much better price. In this case spending more did not mean better quality. The tickets should...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been coming here with my father for about 8 years. Get scared and scream lots every time, they are by far the best haunted houses Ive ever had the pleasure of going through. Four stars because like all things there are flaws. Certain props not working, occasionally a bad actor, logistical errors etc. Lines are long if you don't get the fast pass, but the fast pass comes with a t shirt so the $25 it costs doesn't hurt as bad as it normally would, plus you skip pretty much the whole line. It makes a world of difference. In the past you used to get tickets and were able to go though the haunt you had a ticket for only once. Now you buy a wrist band that gives you the ability to go though as many times as you want. You could stay the whole night and run through em over and over (at least this is how it works if you buy the $50 band which let's you into all three haunts.) This is nice though I think it has somewhat lowered the intensity as they have to pump people through fast on account of the fact you can get in multiple times in a night. Actors are noticeably worse than in previous years. Yet these haunts are still fantastic you should absolutely pay them a visit. Thanks guys see...
