Don’t eat here. It’s over priced, the service is probably the worst I’ve had in Vegas (local for over 15 years), and they don’t tell you all the ingredients in their food ( hope you don’t have any allergies).

The Good: -This is a really pretty restaurant. The design feels really nice and appropriate for the style of restaurant. -The hostess was very kind and welcoming. Just know your first impression will likely not be your final one.

The Bad: -The service is truly horrid. Our waiter was unable to give us any incite or recommendations about the menu when asked. He barely made eye contact with us, and after we ordered our food he was never seen for over 30 minutes, and we only saw him because he was brining another table their drinks. I had to practically throw myself out of my chair to get my wife and I more water. -The food contained asparagus, which was not mentioned on the menu (see photo below). We would have sent it back had our waiter was missing the whole time. My wife luckily doesn’t have an allergy, but she order this item because it was one of the only things that didn’t have asparagus. If you have allergies don’t eat here, won’t be able to feel safe about your food. -The place was never more than half full the whole time I was there, yet there was a line of 2-4 parties the entire time. Idk if they are holding people back because their services is so bad, but it’s not cool. We went on a Sunday night, you should expect people go out to eat on weekends.

The Ugly: -We saw a waitress break a glass at an empty table. Totally normal, it happens. But what isn’t normal is sitting a couple there before you’ve finished cleaning it up. Oh, and this couple was in sandals. Yup, they were sitting at a table that still had glass on the ground. My wife got up and grab the glass off the floor, because we were sure that the servers weren’t gonna do it.

Unless you’re so drunk you can’t see straight, don’t eat here. The food is fine (not good, just fine) the price is not. For $20-$30 bucks a person you should be getting good service, not no eye contact and glass on the floor. Don’t be tricked by the pretty decorations, it’s not a sign of a...

If you are at Durango hotel and wanted Sushi, this would definitely be your choice. I don’t see someone coming here specifically for sushi as there are better options around town at a better price point. Expect to pay premium prices for sushi primarily because it is in a hotel.

We ordered Super Spider Roll and the Y.O.M. Sushi Moriwase. With the Y.O.M. Sushi Moriwase, you get to choose a classic roll in which we chose the toro & oshinko roll for an additional $6 charge. Price wise, I felt this was a really good deal since that roll itself would cost $22. And surprisingly, it also was my favorite item that we ate there. One interesting thing is that they also have some noodles and fried rice, which ironically would be something I’d like to try next time.

They have a pretty good drink menu as they have a decent selection of sake as well as Japanese Whiskey. If you’re wanting to look for either of those selections, then I’d say this is your best choice since those options aren’t commonly found in casinos in genereal.

The vibe of the restaurant was pretty chill where it’s in the middle of feeling like a restaurant, but still attached to a food court. I really like the decor and the huge bonsai tree that they have. There’s no windows separating you from the food court so you may still feel like you’re apart of the food court while eating. Our server was really nice and would check up on us. It wasn’t so busy so it was pretty easy to get their attention if we needed any thing.

Overall, I only think it’s good to eat here if you wanted Sushi and was at Durango hotel. But I don’t think it would be the main reason to come to Durango in the...

From the moment we stepped into Yu or Mi Sushi inside the new Durango Casino, we knew we were in for a special treat. The service here is nothing short of incredible. It's not every day that you get personally greeted by the owner, who made it a point to ensure our experience was nothing less than perfect. This personal touch added a warm, welcoming vibe to our meal.

The server was remarkably attentive, constantly ensuring that our needs were met without being intrusive. Whether it was refilling our drinks at just the right moment or offering recommendations from the menu, their attention to detail was impeccable.

Speaking of the menu, the sushi here is a culinary masterpiece. Each roll was a blend of fresh, high-quality ingredients, crafted with a level of skill that you can taste in every bite. The presentation of the dishes was a feast for the eyes, making the experience even more delightful.

The ambiance of Yu or Mi Sushi deserves a special mention. The vibe inside is just right, striking a perfect balance between elegance and comfort. It complements the dining experience and elevates it to a level that's hard to find elsewhere.

In summary, our meal at Yu or Mi Sushi was nothing short of amazing. It's not just the food that makes this place special; it's the people and the atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in the Durango Casino. Wow, what a nice...

This is a terrific high-end feeling Japanese restaurant, without the inflated prices you find on the strip. The sushi chef (named Webster) was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. A typical traditional role was $11 - $16. Awesome sake selection. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are anywhere near Durango.
