Elements Massage — Local services in Spring Valley

Elements Rhodes Ranch always goes out of their way to ensure that I have a good experience. I've been a customer for at least 4 years and had many therapists as my treatment goals have changed or the therapist moved on. All of them have been very good at providing the massage I've required.

My current therapist Mike has been the best to date. He takes his specialty seriously and works to ensure that he addresses my aches and stresses with diverse treatments for a goal of alleviating the issue. He is very knowledgeable and seeks additional knowledge to keep current with his skills to provide the best treatment for all of his clients. Each session we progress from the previous one and for the first time I feel improvement in my muscle movement and flexibility.

I have seen a few therapists at the Durango location. All of them have been wonderful. Unfortunately, my favorite therapist left. :( I was referred to Nicole, and it was the best massage I have ever received. When booking, I think it is important to know what pressure level of massage you want. Every therapist is different, and knowing this information beforehand is important. The front desk staff will ask you your pressure preference and book you with the appropriate therapist. Make sure you get the Himalayan salt stone added to your massage. You'll thank me later. The minute you walk in this location it is so calm and peaceful. I wish I could just sit on their couch in the reception area and 'Zen' out all day. The front desk staff has always been polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. If you are an individual that wants monthly massages, I would suggest becoming a member. The front desk at this location is highly disorganized. They frequently provide incorrect information and fail to book appointments as requested. I was told I would receive a complimentary massage due to an error on their part—booking a 60-minute massage when I specifically asked for a 90-minute session.

I called on the day of my complimentary massage to confirm, and the same staff member who had originally made the mistake assured me it would be free of charge. However, after tipping my therapist, I discovered that my card had been charged without my permission. The front desk never informed me or asked for my consent before processing the payment.

This lack of communication and unauthorized charging is concerning, especially considering I’ve been a loyal client who always tips generously. It's frustrating to be treated as if I am the problem when the front desk clearly failed to do their job properly.
