I have been a loyal customer of sabor Venezolano longer than most of their current employees. I eat here at least once a week, their food is truly very good. But their service?.. it’s been lacking for quite some time now. It’s disheartening to see, especially as such a constant recurring issue. As of lately it seems as if most if not all employees have no experience in customer service. Today I ordered through the phone as I usually do, they know me by name here. So I had asked for a chicken with no salt as I always do. The woman taking my order straight out told me “the chicken already comes with salt” I said that can’t be because I’ve already ordered this a thousand times. “No we can’t do it without it.” I asked her really? Please ask. She said fine and left me in hold for 5 minutes and never came back, I hung up and called again. This time another woman attended me and I ordered like normal. But the woman (from the first call) had so much attitude that I asked for her name. I later got off to get my order and asked again who was the woman. They said they didn’t know. So I ask all three workers who it was because surely one would know or either be her. Areli (black hair, glasses, tan skin) finally told me “yes it was me.” But she laughed in my face and then continued her attitude even after I confronted her. The owner was right next on the side but even then he didn’t butt into the conversation at all. He didn’t apologize or ask what was wrong. They hadn’t even apologized until a long time after. There was no genuine remorse from what I’ve felt a huge disrespect building up for a long time now. Completely disregarded as a customer. This really is disappointing that after such a long time they still don’t seem to value their costumers.. I don’t think I’ll be returning at least not anytime soon that’s for sure. And I recommend that you not go, and subject yourself to such...
Read moreSo we came here yesterday for the first time for breakfast and we were blown away with how delicious the empanadas were! It was 11/10 and definitely a must try! Cheese and ground beef empanadas is my recommended item for the breakfast and as for the entrees the meat on what what we ordered (see pictures) were prefectly cooked. So tender and so juicy and soft. We came back today for brunch and never the less we were welcomed with open arms the empanadas we got today was so much bigger than the normal and we appreciate that! The food are really just so good and it stands out with the other restaurants. The beef soup we had was so awesome and full of flavor. We would like to thank our servers Pedro for accommodating us, he's excellent and we love him and our server the first time around (sorry we forgot the name) hair had blond highlights with the long lashes beautiful young lady. You guys are awesome keep up the good work! Definitely a must try location here at Orlando florida. Well be back next time we visit. Sending love from...
Read moreA local eatery that serves some authentic Venezuelan food.
Venezuelan food is famous for their arepas. I didn't order it here but I was told it was a little bland and needed some kind of sauce. This was the shredded beef with cheese. I originally ordered the shredded chicken but they ran out. It also took a while for them to make this. The table was almost done with their food by the time the area order was received.
The meat platters are probably the best. The meat platter for 2 had a variety of meats (ham , chicken, beef, sausage) for $32. The meat was well seasoned and delicious. My only complaint is that I felt the ham was a little "cheap". They should have served the pernil or some type of roasted pork instead of the ham. The grilled chicken super burrito was also good but very small portion wise. Chipotle is at least twice the size and cheaper.
Overall, we enjoyed the food and the server was friendly and kind enough to explain...
